Lucknow University B.Ed Admissions 2018

Lucknow University has invited applications for admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) for the academic session 2017-19. Candidates can register for admission to 2-year B.Ed programme through the official university website by submitting the required application fee and filling the form with all the relevant details.

Students seeking admission must satisfy the relevant eligibility criteria and will be shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in the entrance exam, conducted by the Lucknow university. The admit card for the B.Ed entrance exam can be downloaded from the official website with the help of application number.

Last date of registration for B.Ed programme along with the required application fee is April 10, 2017. The B.Ed entrance exam will be conducted on May 3, 2017 and the results will be published in the last week of May 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Ed

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India and should be minimum 17 years old
  • Candidate must possess graduate degree with at least 50% aggregate of marks from a recognized university
  • Candidate who possess BE or B.Tech degree can also apply for the exam provided they have obtained at least 55% marks with Science and Mathematics as their subject
  • Candidates belonging to reserved category will be given a relaxation of 5% in the required aggregate of marks


How to Apply

B.Ed

Candidates can fill the application form for JEE-B.Ed entrance exam in the following three steps:

Step 1: Registration

Step 2: Application Fee Submission

Step 3: Application Form Filling and Printing

Applicants are advised to retain a copy of this application form. It will be needed at the time of counseling along with the entrance exam admit card.

Application fee:

  • For General and OBC candidates – Rs. 1000/-
  • For SC and ST candidates – Rs. 500/-

Step 1: Registration

  • Upon landing on the official B.Ed registration portal, candidate should click on ‘Candidate Registration’ link.
  • Then, he/she should fill all the particulars in the Online Registration Form. The fields denoted by (*) are compulsory to be filled.
  • Upon submission, a confirmation page with a unique nine digit Registration number will be generated.

Note: Upon Registration, the candidate has to deposit the fee and then fill the application form.

Step 2. Application Fee Deposition

  • Click on Submit / Update Application Fee / Reprint e-Receipt link.
  • Then, candidate should submit the fee online (Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/RTGS/NEFT) through the Payment Gateway website or Choose Cash Deposit through E-Challan.
  • In case of payment  through cash at bank branch, kindly ensure that the Transaction Number given by bank is clearly readable as it will facilitate the candidate to fill the Application Form.
  • In case of online payment, kindly note down the Reference Id issued by NIC and Transaction Id issued by Bank for future reference.

Step 3: Application Form Filling

  • Once the fees has been submitted, the candidate should lick on ‘Submit Application Form’ link and enter the Registration Number, Transaction number / Reference Number along with the date of birth
  • Next, candidate should fill the required information and click on submit
  • Upon submitting application, candidate should upload his/her colour frontface photograph and signature in jpeg format (size not more than 50kb for photograph and not more than 20kb for signature).
  • Before final submission of application form, kindly preview all the information filled up to this point and then finally submit the application form.
  • Take the printout of this final form for further correspondence

Note: Applicants do not have to send the copy of the application form by post. They have to retain the application form and bring it along with the admit card when they come for counselling
