Delhi University invites application to PG courses for academic year of 2017-18. There is a common registration portal for all PG courses offered by all the Faculties/Departments of Delhi University. The registration window has been starts from April 28 and it will be closed on May 30, 2017 (tentative).

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor of Education [B.Ed] & Bachelor of Education [B.Ed] (Special Education) (Mental Retardation)

Age Limit: There is no age limit in Delhi University and its respective colleges for admission to PG courses.

Educational Qualifications:

B.Ed Special Education (Mental Retardation) and B.Ed. Programme

Delhi University offers two year B.Ed. programme at Central Institute of Education and it also offers B.Ed special Education programme only at Durgabai Deshmukh College of Special Education.

  • No of Seats for B.Ed: 350 Seats
  • No of Seats for B.Ed Special Education: 30 Seats

Eligibility Criteria: You should have passed with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities/Commerce or BE/B.Tech Degree with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.

For SC/ST candidates, they must have passed only in the qualifying degree examination.

OBC, Children/Widows of Armed Personnel, including Para Military Personnel, killed/disabled in Action (C/WAP), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category candidates will be allowed a concession of 5% marks in the minimum qualification marks.

B.P.Ed

No of Seats: 50 Seats

Eligibility Criteria: You must have a

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline with 50 % marks and having at least participation in the Inter College/Inter-Zonal/District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India
  • Bachelor degree in physical education with 45 % marks or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as compulsory/elective subject.
  • Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (i.e. trained physical education teachers/coaches)
  • Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/Inter University/ State competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/ Inter-Zonal/District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India

LLB

The University offers three year LL.B programmes at its respective colleges.

Eligibility Criteria: You must have a Bachelor or Master Degree with 50 % marks (45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST candidates) from the Delhi University or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent.

LLM

The University offers two or three year LL.M. programmes at its respective colleges.

Eligibility Criteria: You must have a 3 years or 5 years LL.B. Degree with 50 % marks (45% for OBC & SC/ST candidates) from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent.

The university offers one year M.L.I.Sc. programme.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Entrance Category: You must have a

  • Bachelor Degree examination with at least minimum 50% marks from Delhi University or any other University whose examination is recognized as equivalent to University of Delhi University.
  • B.L.I.Sc. or B.Lib.Sc. Course with at least minimum 50% marks from Delhi University or any other University as equivalent.

For Merit Category: You should have passed B.LI. Sc. or B.Lib. Sc. Degree with minimum 60% marks from Delhi University only.

M.Ed

No of Seats: 50 Seats

Eligibility Criteria: You should have a B.Ed/ B.A.B.Ed/B.Sc.B.Ed / B.El.Ed/ D.El.Ed (with an undergraduate degree) with 50% marks from Delhi University or any other University as equivalent.

M.P.Ed

No of Seats: 39 Seats

Eligibility Criteria: You must have a Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Integrated M.Sc.- Ph.D. Combined Degree (Biomedical Research, ACBR)

The total number of seats for M.Sc. and M.Sc.-Ph.D. Combined degree program is 46.

Eligibility Criteria: You must have a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences/Life Sciences/ Zoology/ Botany/ Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Environmental/Biology/ Biotechnology/ Laboratory Techniques/ B.Pharma/ B.V.Sc. or M.B.B.S. with minimum 55% marks from Delhi University or any other examination recognized by the Delhi University or equivalent thereto.


How to Apply?

Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Microwave Electronics) , B.Ed & LLM

You can apply for PG programmmes through online mode only. All the candidates seeking admission to the PG courses are required to register online before May 30, 2017 (tentative). There are given some simple step to submit applications:

Step 1: Visit the official PG Admission Portal. 

Step 2: Create the login details by clicking on the “Register Here” under the “New User?”

Step 3: After complete this process, a verification email will be sent on your email account with a confirmation link.

Step 4: Now log on to the PG admission portal using “registered email-id” and created “password” to fill the online registration form.

Step 5: Upload following required documents

  • Passport size photograph (maximum size: 50kb; Formats: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG)
  • Scanned signature (maximum size: 50kb; Formats: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG)
  • Self-attested copy of Class 10th Certificate (maximum size: 100kb, Formats: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG/ PDF)
  • Self-attested copy of Identity Proof (maximum size: 50kb, Formats: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG)
  • Self-attested copy of Caste Certificate, if applicable (maximum size: 100kb, Formats: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG/ PDF)

Step 6: After upload these documents, Click on “Submit My Profile”.

Step 7: You will now start with the online filling of the registration form by clicking “Apply in New Course”.

Step 8: Fill all required details like education details, courses to apply, admission criteria (Merit or Entrance) etc.

Step 9: Choose exam city

Step 10: After filling all details, Click the “Save Application”.

There are three options available at the bottom of the page, which are: 'Click to Modify Application', 'Pay Fee' & 'My Home'

Make Payment:

After providing complete information, you will proceed with the fee payment by clicking ‘Pay Fee’.

Online Application fee for admission to all PG Courses

Application fee for Unreserved, OBC and other categoriesINR 500/- for each course
Application fee for SC/ST/PwDINR 250/- for each course

Your application submission process will be completed only after payment of the online registration fee.


Selection Procedure

Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Microwave Electronics) , B.Ed & LLM

There are two modes of admission for postgraduate courses in all the Faculties/Departments of Delhi University, except the ones offering inter-disciplinary or professional courses:

  • Through Merit or Direct: 50% of the total intake shall be filled by direct admission of the students of the Delhi University only, on the basis of merit.
  • Through Entrance: Remaining 50% of the seats shall be filled through entrance examination and Interview/Group Discussion.

The entrance exam will be held between June 19 to June 23, 2017 (tentative). For exact date of the Entrance Exam of individual courses, you should visit the PG admission portal during May 2, 2017 (tentative).

Entrance examination shall be conducted at the Centres located in the following cities:

Selection Process for Integrated M.Sc.- Ph.D. Combined Degree (Biomedical Research, ACBR)

The admission to Ph.D. Program will be on the basis of merit and availability of vacancies in the preferred research area. There will be one common Entrance Test for admission to the M.Sc. and M.Sc.-Ph.D. Combined Degree Program in Biomedical Sciences.
