Chaudhary Charan Singh university is a Non-Profit organization which was established in the year 1965 with the objective of providing the best educational requirements. The University is named after the seventh prime minister of India.

CCS University is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), UGC (University Grant Commission), NCTE (National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE), NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council)

There are 22 UGC sponsored courses and 35 self-financed/job oriented courses being run in the campus at Meerut

  • M.Sc admissions to the interested applicants will be offered on the merit basis, except certificate & diploma courses in Russian, German, French & Jyotish.
  • Applicants must meet eligibility criteria before applying.

CCS University Admission Procedure

Eligible candidates will get admission on the basis of their academic record and as per the merit list.  Applying applicants are advised to bring all relevant documents at admission hall for verification procedure.

How to Fill CCS University 2018 Application Form:

  • Visit official website that is CSS University.ac.in.
  • Hit on “apply online” button on the home page
  • Fill application form with all required details
  • After that, hit on an appropriate link for submit application fee
  • Then attach all important documents with it and finally hit on “submit” button
  • Candidates are advised to recheck the complete application form once
  • At last, you can take print out of application form for future use

CCS University Selection Process

Candidates will be offered admission to various courses based on their merit score in the qualifying exam. And also after cumulating the eligibility criteria and reservation if it is applicable.

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the entrance test and weightages (details mentioned below)

The result of entrance test will be uploaded on the university website www.ccsuniversity.ac.in. Candidates selected for admission will be intimated accordingly by the departments they have applied in.

Candidates are advised to go through the details below if they wish to make the weightage applicable on their merit score:

1) 4% Candidate having certificate of participation at National/ State/ Inter University level in a team/ Individual event recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or the Indian Olympic Association (IOA)

2) 4% CCS University graduates, in case of admission to postgraduate program.

3) 2% Candidates having Honours Degree in the subject in which the admission is being sought at post-graduate level.

4) 4% To the son(s)/daughter(s)/spouse of the employee of Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut and its affiliated colleges.

5) 3% Candidates who have secured C/G–II certificate of N.C.C., while pursuing the qualifying degree/class.

6) 2% Candidates, who have secured B/G–I certificate of N.C.C., while pursuing the qualifying degree/class.

7) 3% Students who have served for 240 hours under N.S.S. and participated in two camps of seven and ten days, respectively, while pursuing the qualifying degree/class.

Note: To claim any weightage a candidate will have to enclose relevant cop/certificate in order to support his/her claim. These have to be uploaded at the time of filling or submitting the application form. No one is entitled to receive more than eight marks (percent) as a weightage.


Reservation for CCS University Admissions

The seats reservations for SC/ST/OBC applicants are 21%, 2% & 27% simultaneously

On the other hand, 3%, 2% & 1% seats will be reserved for PH, Dependent of freedom fighter & Dependent of Ex-servicemen applicants

The reservation of seats is being available as per govt. rules & regulations and there may be some modifications made according to the situations

The applicants who are claiming reservation will have to enclose their self-attested copies of supporting certificates to their category in specified Performa along with application form.
