Eligibility Criteria

BE/B.Tech

Nationality: The applicant should be a resident Indian national and

(i) Must have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years for admission to Undergraduate program

(ii) should have studied in educational institutions in India and completed their qualifying examination.

Educational qualification

Candidates should have cleared class 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum 50 % aggregate as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech (lateral entry): Candidates must have a diploma in a relevant field with 50% marks recognized by Central or State Government or must have a Bachelor's of Science degree with Mathematics as main subject.

B.Arch

  • A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent having a minimum total aggregate of 50% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study or 10+3 Diploma (Any Stream) recognized by Central/State Government with 50% aggregate marks.
  • A pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. No separate entrance examination will be conducted by Bharath University. However, the candidates have to apply in the prescribed application form for admission to B.Arch program.

BE/B.Tech & B.Arch

  • Online with e-payment use the URL www.bharathuniv.ac.in/admissions, register and pay online
  • Online with Demand Draft: Application to be filled online by visiting www.bharathuniv.ac.in/admissions, and the same can be downloaded and sent to us with the demand draft for Rs.900/- drawn in favor of Bharath University, payable at Chennai. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of Demand draft. Your application will be processed only upon receipt of the demand draft.
  • Direct: Candidates can obtain the application form from any of the following sources upon payment of INR 900/-.

Application fee

An application fee of Rs 900 is to be paid by candidates for the registration process. The candidates must pay the application fee by demand draft drawn in favor of "Bharath University" payable at Chennai.


Admission Process

BE/B.Tech

  • The admission will be purely on the basis of the performance in the Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) conducted by Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER).
  • The candidates short-listed based on their performance in the entrance examination will be called for the counseling to be held at the BIHER.

B.Arch

  • Admission to B.Arch. program will be based on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination & NATA score.
  • The meritorious candidate list will be drawn giving 50% weightage to aggregate of total marks secured in qualifying examination & 50% weightage to NATA score.
  • Based on the ranking, admissions will be offered to the candidate.
