Alliance University, Karnataka provides courses in engineering for which applications are available in the month of February, every year. Engineering courses are offered at the Alliance College of Engineering and Design. For admission in engineering programs admission is done through an entrance test conducted by the University.

For B.Tech programme candidates are required to appear in Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET).. B. Tech program is also available for evening mode for which admission is made through the same entrance test. Candidates are provided with the option to apply through online mode as well as offline mode.

University also gives privilege to those candidates who have participated in extracurricular activities for admission to different courses.

Eligibility Criteria

BE/B.Tech

B.Tech programme is provided by the Alliance College of Engineering & Design available with the option of lateral entry and evening classes.

Specializations:

  • For regular mode:

Duration: 4 years for regular mode students and 3 years for lateral entry students.

Eligibility:

  • For regular mode: Candidates who have completed 10+2 with mathematics and physics and main subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as optional subject scoring a minimum of 45% marks are eligible for the course. SC/ST candidates are required to have secured 40% marks to be eligible for the course.
  • For lateral entry: Those candidates who have done Diploma course related to the branch of engineering with at least 45% marks are eligible for lateral entry admission to B. Tech programme.

Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws [B.A.L.L.B.] {Hons}

B.A -LL.B is provided by the Alliance School of Law.

Duration: 5 years

Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] + Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.] {Hons.}

BBA- LL.B is provided by the Alliance School of Law.

Duration: 5 years

Application Process

BE/B.Tech

  • Online mode:

For B. Tech programme candidates can apply online for which they are required to go to the official website, their candidates can apply for both regular as well as lateral entry mode.

  • In Person:

For getting the application form in person, candidates are required to visit the Office of Admission, Alliance University. Application is available on the payment of application fee in cash or in the form of Demand Draft.

  • Offline mode:

Candidates are required to download the application form from official website, fill the required details and send it to the University with the required documents and the application fee in form of a Demand Draft.

NOTE: Demand Draft is required to be made in favour of “Alliance University College of Engineering" payable at Bengaluru.

User Facts:

  1. For online application of the course, candidates are required to keep the scan copies of the documents.
  2. Payment of application form is required to be done through credit/debit card.
  3. Cost of application form is INR 1000 for Indian nationals, INR 2000 for NRI and SAARC candidates and US$ 50 for other country citizens.


Admission Process

BE/B.Tech

  • Candidates are required to have appeared in Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET) conducted by the Alliance College of Engineering and Design.
  • If candidates are selected in AUEET then they will have to appear for a personal interview session.
  • Selected candidates are required to submit registration fee INR 25000 in the form of demand draft made in favour of Alliance University College of Engineering payable at Bangalore.

NOTE: Registration fee for NRI and SAARC national in INR 30,000 and for foreign national fee is USD $1,000

Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws [B.A.L.L.B.] {Hons} & Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] + Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.] {Hons.}

  • Selection in Alliance University for law courses is done on the basis of marks scored in CLAT/LSAT/ACLAT
  • Short listed candidates will be called for a personal interview.
  • Selected candidates are required to submit registration fee INR 50000 in the form of demand draft made in favour of Alliance University  payable at Bangalore

NOTE: Registration fee for NRI and SAARC national in INR 60,000 and for foreign national fee is USD $1,000

User facts:

  1. University also considers parameter like extracurricular activity for considering the admission of candidates.
  2. ACLAT is the common entrance test conducted by the Alliance University for Selection of candidates to law course.

Scholarships:

  • Merit based:

University provides scholarship to candidates on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying exams.

Minimum 90% marks in 10th and 12th: 25% waiver in tuition fees.

Minimum 85% marks in 10th and 12th: 20% waiver in tuition fees.

Score of 90 percentile or above in entrance test: 20% waiver in tuition fees.

99 percentile in CAT or a score of 725 and above in GMAT: 100% waiver in tuition fees. (For MBA only)

  • Sports Quota:

Those candidates who have played sports on National level will get 20% waiver in tuition fee.

  • Differently able:

Those differently able candidates who have scored 60% marks or more in 10th, 10+2 and in graduation are subjected to get a 30% of waiver in tuition fee.

  • SC/ST candidates:

SC/ST candidates with minimum of 70% in 10th, 10+2 and in graduation are subjected to get 25% of waiver in tuition fee.
