M S Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS) PG Admission 2017

MS Ramaiah University provides different post graduate courses in different streams, admission to which is done through PGCET and Uni-GAUGE exams. PGCET is conducted for all post graduate courses on state level by Karnataka Examinations Authority and Uni-GAUGE is conducted by University itself. Applications can be submitted to the University through both online as well as offline mode. Post graduate courses are also available for foreign national for which they are required to submit the TOEFL score card at the time of admission. Applications through PGCET are made in the month of July and exams are expected to be held in the month of August. PGCET for all the courses are conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority whereas for the M. Pharm programme PGCET is conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

Duration: Candidates are required to complete the programme in a minimum of 2 years and maximum of 4 years time duration.

NOTE: Duration for part-time enrolled candidates is of 4 to 6 years.

Eligibility: For M.Tech programme candidates are required to have done BE/B.Tech or any other bachelor course in the relevant stream from a recognised University with at least 50% marks. SC/ST candidates will get relaxation as per the government notification.

NOTE: Up to 15% seats are reserved for foreign/NRI candidates.

Application Process

ME/M.Tech , MBA/PGDM & M.Pharm

Online mode:

  • Candidates can apply for the programme through online mode by going to the official website of MSRUAS.
  • Fill in the details asked in the form, select YES or NO in the column of documents which is required to be submitted. If the asked document concerns you then select YES otherwise NO.

NOTE: Selected documents along with the Demand Draft of INR 1000 drawn in favour of ‘MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences’ payable at Bangalore are to be send to the University.

User facts:

  • The sections like Student Visa, Migration certificate, passport or any other such details asked in the form, if not applicable to the candidate should be marked as NO.
  • Candidates are required to keep the Demand Draft ready at the time of filling the application form.

Offline mode:

To submit the form through offline mode, candidates are required to download the form from the University website, fill the required details and send it to the University along with the documents and a Demand Draft of INR 1000 drawn in favour of ‘MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences’ payable at Bangalore.

Admission Process

ME/M.Tech , MBA/PGDM & M.Pharm

Selection for post graduation programme is done through PGCET conducted on state level for admission to different post graduation courses in Karnataka. For applying through PGCET candidates are require to visit the website of Karnataka Examinations Authority i.e. http://www.kea.kar.nic.in to fill the online application form.

Uni-GAUGE: Admission to post graduation programmes is also done through an entrance test conducted by the University on all India level. Candidates are required to submit the Uni-Gauge score card along with the application.

NOTE:

  • 40% of seats are reserved for admission through Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET).
  • PGCET for M.Pharm is conducted separately by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS)
  • At present Uni-Gauge is not considered for the MBA entrance. Candidates can apply directly to the University and get the admission on the marks scored in the qualifying exams.

For M.Tech:

  •  The PGCET code for University is T945.
  • Candidates with valid GATE score card can also apply for the M.Tech programme.

For MDS:

PGCET code is D010

For MBA:

PGCET code is B348
