Yenepoya Universityis a university in South Karnataka which is approved by UGC and the Ministry of Human Resource. It is the first private university in the district of Dakshin Kannada. Its main aim is to imbibe the best health care education, in the true spirit of global learning. It provides both under-graduation and post-graduation courses in various fields of learning.

The university provides three courses at post-graduate level – Masters in Social Work, Master of Physiotherapy and Masters in Hospital Administration. Admission in these programmes is through qualifying examination only.

Candidates who satisfy the eligibility can register themselves through filling the application form and making the registration payment as asked by the university.

Eligibility Criteria

Master in Hospital Administration [MHA]

  • The candidates should have bachelor degree in MBBS/BDS/B.Sc. Nursing/B. Pharmacy/B.Sc. in Allied Health Sciences from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates).

Master of Social Work [MSW]

  • The candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Neurosciences) , Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Orthopaedics) & Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Paediatric- Physiotherapy)

  • The candidates should hold a bachelor degree Physiotherapy (BPT) with a minimum aggregate of 50%


Application Process

Master in Hospital Administration [MHA] , Master of Social Work [MSW] & Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Neurosciences)

  1. Candidates can get the application form both online and offline. Application forms are available at the Office of the Registrar or can be downloaded from the official website of the university- www.yenepoya.edu.in.
  2. Application forms are also available at the Administrative Office of Yenepoya University.
  3. After the application form is filled in all respects, they should pay the registration fee, which can be payed through Demand Draft (DD) or in hand cash at the Office of Registrar.
  4. Registration fees for these courses of Yenepoya University is INR 300.
  5. Demand draft should be made in favour of Yenepoya University, Mangalore, payable at Mangalore along with the duly filled application form to the Admission Manager, Yenepoya University-575018.
  6. The candidates should attach the following copies of documents along with the duly filled application form and demand draft:
  • Mark sheet and Certificates of 10th and 10+2 and bachelor degree.
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Eligibility Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (for SC/ST)
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Medical fitness certificate

The same original documents should be submitted in the college at the time of final admission.

Selection Process

Master of Social Work [MSW] , Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Neurosciences) & Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] (Orthopaedics)

  • After completing the registration process by filling the application form in all respects and making the registration fee, the university will generate a ranking list of the selected students.
  • The selection is entirely based on the norms of the competent authority of the university.


Note

  • Yenepoya University has adopted two nearby villages and takes care of the health services there.
  • Hostels are provided separately for men and women with a capacity of 500.
