KLE Technological University BE and B.Arch. Admissions 2018

KLE Technological University is a private university, earlier known as BV Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in multiple disciplines every year.

The university offers the following courses at under-graduate (UG) level in various disciplines:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)           
  • Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.)

Admission to the B.E. programme is done on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in CET Karnataka / COMED-K exam/ JEE entrance examination. Admission to B.Arch. programme is done based on the performance of the candidate in NATA exam.

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is an All India national level examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Architecture. Common entrance test (CET) or Joint entrance examination (JEE) or Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) are conducted to determine the merit of students seeking admissions to the undergraduate courses in the respective fields.

Eligibility Criteria

BE/B.Tech

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)

B.E. programme is offered in the following disciplines:

  1. Civil Engineering – (120 seats)
  2. Mechanical Engineering – (240 seats)
  3. Electrical & Electronics – (60 seats)
  4. Electronics & Communication – (240 seats)
  5. Computer Science & Engineering – (240 seats)
  6. Automation & Robotics – (60 seats)
  7. Bio Technology – (60 seats)

Eligibility: Candidate must pass in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) and a compulsory rank in any of the following exams - CET Karnataka / Comed-K / JEE

B.E. programme (Lateral Entry):

Eligibility: Candidate must possess diploma as per 10+3 pattern in the concerned branch.

B.Arch

Eligibility:

  • ?Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Science subjects and should possess a rank in NATA exam.
  • Candidate must possess Diploma as per 10+3 pattern in Civil / Architecture


How to Apply

BE/B.Tech & B.Arch

  • For admssion to the B.E programme, candidate must appear for CET Karnataka/ COMED-K exam/ JEE. Candidates can register themselves for the concerned examination through its respective website.
  • While applying for admission to the B.E. programme of the KLE Technological University, candidate must attach the following documents along with completed applications:

Enclosures for Karnataka candidates:

  1. CET/ Comed-K/ Management Admission Letter
  2. SSLC Marks Card for Age Proof
  3. PUC II / Equivalent Marks Card
  4. Caste Income Reservation
  5. Special Category certificate (Physically Handicapped/ NCC/ Scouts and Guides/ Sports/ Defense).
  6. SC/ ST/ OBC Certificate (if applicable)
  7. Transfer Certificate

  1. ComedK/ Management Admission Letter

  • For admssion to the B.Arch programme, candidate must appear for NATA, an online test conducted by Council of Architecture and arranged in the department of architecture in college. Candidates can register themselves for the test through the official NATA website.

Selection of the candidates for B.E. programme will be done on the basis of their scores in CET Karnataka/ COMED-K / JEE exam

B.Arch

Selection of the candidates to B.Arch. programme will be done on the basis of their score in the NATA entrance examination
