Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) is a public/ government university which was established in 1958. It is located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. It is one of the oldest premier university with adjoining regions and people in innumerable ways. The university has 404 affiliated colleges which come under four districts of Maharashtra state.University offers under graduate (UG) and post graduate (PG)programmes in various disciplines.

B. Tech. course, admissions are based on MHT-CET entrance test. B.Voc. course admissions are based on the entrance exam conducted by the university.

Candidate can register themselves by submitting the entrance examination fees of Rs. 200/- (for open category) and Rs. 100/- (for SC/ST/ VJ/DT/ NT/ OBC category)

Eligibility

Bachelor of Vocational Studies [B.Voc.]

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Science stream with subjects-Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English.

Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Dance)

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% of marks in Science/Arts/Commerce stream.

Bachelor of Arts [BA]

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% of marks in Science/Arts/Commerce stream.

Bachelor of Performing Arts [BPA]

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% of marks in Science/Arts/Commerce stream.

Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Drama)

Candidate must possess graduation degree from this university or any other recognized university.

B.Sc

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% of marks in Science/Arts/Commerce stream

Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Computer Science)

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Science stream with subjects-Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology with English and a second language.

How To Apply

BA , B.Sc & BE/B.Tech

  1. Candidates can register themselves by submitting the entrance examination fees of

Rs.200/- (for open category) and Rs.100/- (for reserved category candidates).

  1. Candidate can download brochure from university website www.dmer.org for MHT-CET 2017 entrance test.
  2. Candidates can register themselves for B. Tech. course by submitting entrance examination fees of Rs.860/- (for open category candidates) and Rs. 660/- (for reserved category candidates) through challan to any of the SBI branch.
  3. Candidate must send the application form and all the documents at the following address:

For Online registration

  1. Candidates has to open the university portal and register himself/herself.
  2. After registration candidates will receive username and password on his email ID and mobile no.
  3. Candidates can verify the registration and change his/her password.
  4. After that candidates can starts filling online application form and upload his/her photo and signature, personal details, contact, correspondence, reservation and educational details.
  5. Candidates can prints e-Suvidha kit and enters confirmation code in the system.
  6. Then candidates can select the course from list of first year courses available and select affiliated colleges which are running the course.
  7. The candidates must send the required document attached with application and take printout of the form and attached the required documents.
  8. At the end, candidates can purchase the prospectus of the college and submit application form and required documents in college.

Process

BA , B.Sc & BE/B.Tech

Candidates get directly selected for the above mentioned programmes but selection for B. Tech. is done on the basis of MHT-CET entrance test and in B.Voc. course is done through entrance examination

  • 2 seats are reserved for the son/ daughter/ wards of freedom fighter/ serviceman/ Ex-serviceman

  • One seat is reserved for children of martyrsoldiers/ officers of kargil.
  • 2 seats are reserved for son/ daughter/ wards of employee migrated from outside of university region. They should be employee of central government/ public sector corporations.
  • One seat is reserved for students who represent the university at national level/ debate competition and youth festival.


Notes

Hostel:

University provide hostel facility for students on the basis of merit and reservation criteria.

Scholarship:

  • Scholarship will be given to more than two children in the same family.
  • Scholarship will be given to the candidates according to the marks secured in the entrance examination for particular course.
