Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey (SNDT) Women's University was established in 1916 for noble cause of women’s education. Universityoffers various courses having course level post graduate (PG); programmes in these course levels are discussed as following in various disciplines:

  • M.Pharm (in 3 disciplines)

Admission to the abovementionedcourses like M.Ed, M.B.A/, M.C.A, M.Tech and M.Pharm is done on the basis of marks secure in MHT-CET entrance test.

Admission to the abovementioned other courses like M.Sc nursing is on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Admission Eligibility

M.Ed

Candidate must pass in courses like B.Ed, B.A.B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed, B.EI.Ed, D.EI.Ed with an undergraduate degree with 50% of marks and candidate must pass in CET of GOM.

Master of Business Administration [MBA] (Retail Management)

Candidate must be Graduate in any discipline with 50% of marks for open category and 45% of marks for reserved category from an Indian university recognized by AIU written test, group discussion and personal interview conducted by JDBIMS or having valid score of national test.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Nursing)

Candidate must possess degree in B.Sc. Nursing or Pc. B.Sc. Nursing and must having migration certificate from the university.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Analytical Chemistry)

Candidate must pass B.Sc degree with 5 units of 4 credits each or 32 credits of chemistry.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Computer Science)

  • Candidate must be science graduate in BSc. (Physics), BSc. (Maths.), BSc (Elect.), BSc.(IT), B.Sc.(CS) or BCA or any engineering graduate in allied subject from recognized university with not less than 50% of marks for open category and 45% for reserved category.
  • Candidate must pass mathematics at +2 levels or must study at graduation level.

Master of Computer Applications [M.C.A]

Candidate can get admission according to MAH-MCA-CET score as per DTE norms.

Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Electronics and Communication Engineering)

  • Candidate must possess degree in B.E./B.Tech.in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication /Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics and Instrumentation.
  • Candidate must possess 4 years degree in Engineering/Technology from AICTE approved institute.

Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Computer Science & Technology)

  • Candidate must possess degree in B.E./B.Tech.in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication /Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics and Instrumentation.
  • Candidate must possess 4 years degree in Engineering/Technology from AICTE approved institute and marks of GATE/CET are considered.

Master of Pharmacy [M.Pharm] (Pharmaceutics)

  1. Herbal drug technology
  2. Quality assurance
  3. Pharmaceutics

All the 3 courses mentioned above under M.Phram must have same following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility

  • Candidate must be an Indian national and must possess bachelor’s degree pharmacy from AICTE approved institute with at least 50% of marks and 45% of marks in case of SC/ST category and person with disability belong to Maharashtra State.
  • Candidate must qualified GPAT 2015 All India Rank /Total Score.
  • Candidate should have non zero score in MAH-MPH-CET 2015, if candidate has neither appeared for GPAT 2015 nor having valid and qualified GPAT 2015 score.

  1. Candidate can register themselves by sending application form with enrolment fee of amount Rs. 265/- (Enrolment fee Rs. 250/- + Enrolment form fee Rs. 15/- and Eligibility fee Rs 250/- + Eligibility form fee Rs.15/-) in favour of The Registrar S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai.

Admission Process

M.Ed , M.Sc & M.Pharm

  • Selection of the candidate for the courses like M.Ed, M.B.A, M.C.A, M.Tech and M.Pharm is done on the basis of marks secure in MHT-CET entrance test.
  • Selection of the candidate for the courses like M.Sc nursing is on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
  • Selection of the candidate in MCA programme is as per DTE rules
  • Selection of the candidate in M.Sc (CS), M.Sc in nursing and M.Sc analytical chemistry programme is as per merit basis.
  • Selection of the candidate in MBA course is done on the basis of entrance test and score of MHCET and national level aptitude tests.


Reservation

Seats will be reserved for Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment and Physical Disability, as per Government rules.
