Admission to the abovementioned other courses like MA, MSW, BMA, M.Com, M.Sc, M.L.I.Sc, and L.M nursing is on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

M.Ed:

Eligibility

Candidate must pass in courses like B.Ed, B.A.B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed, B.EI.Ed, D.EI.Ed with an undergraduate degree with 50% of marks and candidate must pass in CET of GOM.

Eligibility

  • B.Ed (special education) in respective disability area or equivalent degree from any recognized university with minimum 50% of marks.
  • B.Ed (general education) and 1 year diploma in special education in respective disability area recognized by RCI with minimum 50% marks in each course

Eligibility of MSW:

Candidate must be Graduate in any discipline from any recognized university and candidate should pass the entrance test.

 

Master of Visual Arts [MVA]

MVA:

1st year Eligibility

Candidate must pass the degree of master of visual arts with second class in BVA or BFA or MA with entire drawing

2nd year Eligibility

Student from this university should have cleared 1st year in the same subject with admissible ATKT.

Master of Commerce [M.Com]

1st year Eligibility

Candidate must pass B.Com, B.M.S, B.B.A examination of this university or other recognized university.

2nd year Eligibility

  • Candidate must pass in BSc Physiology, BSc Life Sciences, BSc Biology with minimum 50% of marks or B grade.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Clinical Nutrition)

  • Candidate must possess degree in B.Sc. Foods and Nutrition, B.Sc. Food Science and Nutrition, B.Sc. Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/Nutrition and Dietetics, B.Sc Public Health and Nutrition, B.Sc. Applied Nutrition with minimum 50% marks or B grade.
  • Candidate must possess degree in B.Sc. Life Sciences, B.Sc. Biochemistry, B.Sc Biotechnology, B.Sc. Physiology, B.Sc Zoology, B.Sc.Mo lecular Biology, B.Sc. Clinical and Laboratory Sciences. With minimum 55% marks or B grade.
  • Candidate must possess diploma in Dietetics, Applied Nutrition, Sports Sciences 
       Fitness and Nutrition, Public Health, Clinical Research. With minimum 50% marks or B grade.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Family Resource Management)

  • Candidate must pass in BSc Resource Management, BSc Home Management, BSc Family Resource Management, BSc Home Economics, BSc General Home Science, BSc Composite Home Science, BSc Family and Community Sciences with minimum 45% of marks or B grade.
  • Candidate must pass in BSc Physiology, BSc Life Sciences, BSc Biology with minimum 50% of marks or B grade.

M.Sc in resource management & ergonomics

Eligibility

  • Candidate must pass in resource management from this university or any other recognized university and must pass B.Sc with 50% of marks or B grade.
  • In special cases candidate graduate from allied field will be required to complete pre requisites with minimum 50% of marks

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Human Development)

  • Candidate must pass B.Sc home science with Human Development, BSc Composite Home Science, BA in Home Economics/Home Science, BA/BSc Psychology, BSc/BA Guidance and Counselling with 45% of marks
  • Candidate must pass with one year diploma in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Guidance and Counselling with minimum 45% of marks.

M.Sc in early childhood education:

Eligibility

  • Candidate must pass B.Sc home science with Human Development, BSc Composite Home Science, BA in Home Economics/Home Science, BA/BSc Psychology, BSc/BA Guidance and Counselling with 45% of marks
  • Candidate must pass with one year diploma in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Guidance and Counselling with minimum 45% of marks.

M.Sc in textile science & apparel design:

Eligibility

  • Candidate must possess B.Sc degree in Textile Science and Apparel Design, Fashion, Apparel Design, Dress Design with minimum 45% of marks.
  • Candidate must pass in B Design / Textile Design with minimum 50% of marks.
  • Candidate must possess degree in B. Sc. Composite Home Science, B.A. Home Science, B. Sc. General Home Science, B.Sc. Human Ecology and Consumer Studies, B.Sc. Family and Community Science with minimum 50% of marks and have completed minimum of 8 credits under semester or 200 marks under semester pattern related to textile and apparel design.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Extension Education)

  • Candidate must pass in B.Sc home science with any specialization, BSc Composite Home Science, BA in Home Economics/Home Science, BSc General Home Science, BSc family and community sciences, B. Sc. Ag., BSc Home Economics with minimum 45% of marks.
  • Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Arts, Management, Communication, Mass Media with minimum 50% of marks.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Food Science and Nutrition)

  • Candidate must possess degree in B.Sc.Foods and Nutrition, B.Sc. Food Science and Nutrition, B.Sc. Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/Nutrition and Dietetics, B.S.c Public Health and Nutrition, B.Sc Food Science and Quality Control, B.Sc. Applied Nutrition, B.Sc Food Technology with minimum 50% of marks or B grade.
  • Candidate must possess degree in B.Sc.Life Sciences, B.Sc. Biochemistry, B.Sc Biotechnology, B.Sc. Physiology, B.Sc Microbiology, B.Sc Zoology, B.Sc.Molecular Biology with minimum 55% of marks or B grade.

Master of Library and Information Science [M.Lib.I.Sc]

Candidate must be Graduate from this university or any other recognized university.

Master of Laws [L.L.M.]

Candidate must possess professional LL.B or equivalent degree recognized by bar council of India.

M.M.S:

Eligibility

Candidate must possess valid score of centralized Management Academic Test (CMAT) conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and any other procedure prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of Maharashtra.

Master of Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (MPMIR)

Candidate must be graduate in any discipline with 50% marks at graduation for open category and 45% marks for reserved category from an Indian recognized Institute and final selection will be based on written test, group discussion and personal interview conducted by JDBIMS or valid score card of any national level test.

M.E.M:

Eligibility

  • Candidate must be Graduate in any discipline but preference will be given to teachers and those who are working in education sector.
  • Candidate must possess diploma in education management from SNDT University who wants direct admission to the 2nd year of the course.
  • Candidate shall apply within 6 years of completion of PGDEM for direct enrolment in 2nd year of MEM.

MBA/PGDM

Candidate must be Graduate in any discipline with 50% of marks for open category and 45% of marks for reserved category from an Indian university recognized by AIU written test, group discussion and personal interview conducted by JDBIMS or having valid score of national test.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Nursing)

Candidate must possess degree in B.Sc. Nursing or Pc. B.Sc. Nursing and must having migration certificate from the university.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Analytical Chemistry)

Candidate must pass B.Sc degree with 5 units of 4 credits each or 32 credits of chemistry.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Computer Science)

  • Candidate must be science graduate in BSc. (Physics), BSc. (Maths.), BSc (Elect.), BSc.(IT), B.Sc.(CS) or BCA or any engineering graduate in allied subject from recognized university with not less than 50% of marks for open category and 45% for reserved category.
  • Candidate must pass mathematics at +2 levels or must study at graduation level.

Master of Computer Applications [M.C.A]

Candidate can get admission according to MAH-MCA-CET score as per DTE norms.

Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Electronics and Communication Engineering)

  • Candidate must possess degree in B.E./B.Tech.in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication /Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics and Instrumentation.
  • Candidate must possess 4 years degree in Engineering/Technology from AICTE approved institute

Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Computer Science & Technology)

  • Candidate must possess degree in B.E./B.Tech.in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication /Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics and Instrumentation.
  • Candidate must possess 4 years degree in Engineering/Technology from AICTE approved institute and marks of GATE/CET are considered.

M.Pharm

Programmes under M.Pharm:

  1. Herbal drug technology
  2. Quality assurance
  3. Pharmaceutics

All the 3 courses mentioned above under M.Pharm. must have same following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility

  • Candidate must be an Indian national and must possess bachelor’s degree pharmacy from AICTE approved institute with at least 50% of marks and 45% of marks in case of SC/ST category and person with disability belong to Maharashtra State.
  • Candidate must qualified GPAT 2016 All India Rank /Total Score.
  • Candidate should have non zero score in MAH-MPH-CET 2015, if candidate has neither appeared for GPAT 2015 nor having valid and qualified GPAT 2015 score.


How To Apply

MA , M.Ed & M.Com

  1. Candidate can register themselves by sending application form with enrolment fee of amount Rs. 265/- (Enrolment fee Rs. 250/- + Enrolment form fee Rs. 15/- and Eligibility fee Rs 250/- + Eligibility form fee Rs.15/-) in favour of The Registrar S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai.
  2. Candidates have to send application form along with all the documents at the following address

For Online registration

  1. Candidate has to open the university portal and register himself/herself.
  2. After registration candidate receives username and password on his email ID and mobile no.
  3. Candidate can verify the registration and change his/her password.
  4. After that candidate starts filling online application form and upload his/her photo and signature, personal details, contact, correspondence, reservation and educational details.
  5. Candidate prints eSuvidha kit and enters confirmation code in the system.
  6. Then candidates can select the course from list of first year courses available and selects affiliated college which is running the course.
  7. Then candidate select the required document to be attached with application and takes printout of the form and attached the required documents.
  8. At the end candidate purchases the prospectus of the college and submit application form and required documents in college.

Enclosures:

  1. Leaving Certificate (photo copy)
  2. An attested photocopy of last qualifying mark sheet
  3. The attested passing certificate issued by the board or University
  4. Original Migration Certificate or Original transfer Certificate

MA , M.Ed & M.Sc

  • Selection of the candidate for the courses like M.Ed, M.S.Ed, M.M.S, M.P.M.I.R, M.E.M, M.B.A, M.C.A, M.Tech and M.Pharm is done on the basis of marks secure in MHT-CET entrance test.
  • Selection of the candidate for the courses like MA, MSW, BMA, M.Com, M.Sc, M.L.I.Sc, and L.M is on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
  • Selection of the candidate in MCA programme is as per DTE rules
  • Selection of the candidate in M.Sc (CS), M.Sc in nursing and M.Sc analytical chemistry programme is as per merit basis.
  • Selection of the candidate in MBA course is done on the basis of entrance test and score of MHCET and national level aptitude tests.
  • Selection of the candidate in MPMIR is done on the basis of entrance test and score of MHCET and national level aptitude tests.
  • Selection of the candidate in MMS is done according to the centralized admission procedure conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra.
  • Selection of the candidate in MLISc is according to the merit, aptitude and interview.
  • Selection of the candidate in M.Sc nutrition and food processing, extension education, textile science and apparel design, early childhood education, human development, interior design, family resource management, clinical nutrition & dietetics, food science & nutrition, nutrition & health management and communication media for children is done on the basis of CET, subject specialization test and Interview.
  • Selection in the MSW course is done on the basis of entrance exam, group discussion and personal interview.
  • Selection of the candidate in the MVA course is done on the basis of personal interview and merit.
  • Selection of the candidate in M.Com is directly on the basis of merit.

Reservation
