Established in 1981, Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU) is a public university located in Anantpur, Andhra Pradesh. The university includes a University Science Instrumentation Centre, a Computer Centre, a Health Centre, a gymnasium, an outdoor stadium, an auditorium and space to accommodate departments of studies, laboratories, hostels, and housing for the staff.

The Universityoffers the following undergraduate (UG) and post graduate (PG) courses in the field of law:

Under graduate courses:

  • Bachelor of Law (LL.B.)

Post graduate courses:

  • Master of Law (LL.M.)

Selection of the candidates to the LL.B. & LL.M. course is done on the basis on the basis of their marks in the AP-LAWCET and AP-PGLCET respectively.AP LAWCET-2018 and AP PGLCET- 2018 are the Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Tests for admission into LL.B. and LL.M Courses in the Universities in Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated colleges.

Eligibility

Candidate must be an Indian National and should satisfy local/ non – local status requirements. Candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.

LL.B. – 3 years:

Eligibility

  • Canddiate should possess graduate degree of minimum 3 years of duration with at leats 45% marks and 40% marks ( in case of SC/ST candidates)
  • If the candidate has secured less than 45% aggregate of marks in graduation, he/she should pass any additional graduation or post-graduation with 45% marks
  • General candidates must score at least 35% of marks in APLAWCET-2016. There is no minimum required marks for SC/ST candidates

LL.B. – 5 years:

Eligibility:

  • Candidate should have passed 10+2 qualifying examination or any other examination recognized by university with minimum 45% of marks and 40% of marks (in case of SC/ST candidates)
  • General candidates must score at least 35% of marks in APLAWCET-2016. There is no minimum required marks for SC/ST candidates

Post graduate courses:

LL.M. – 2 years

Eligibility

Candidate must possess LL.B. / B.L. degree of 3/5 year of duration. Students who have appeared or are due to appear for LL.B./B.L. final year examination are also eligible to

How To Apply

LLM & LLB

  • Candiates can register themselves for MBA & MCA programme by applying online through the official website “www.aplawcet.org
  • Before filling the online application form, candidate must submit the registration fee through A.P. online centres or online Payment gateway (Credit card / Debit card/ Net banking). Registration fee to be submitted for LL.B. and LL.M. programme is Rs. 450/- and Rs. 800/- respectively
  • After payment verification, candidate can proceed further for filling the online application form. Along with filling the required details, candidate should also upload his/her scanned photograph and signature to complete the registration process
  • The photograph file should be in the .jpg file format and the size should be less than 30 KB. The Signature’s file format should be .jpg format and the size has to be less than 15 KB
  • After furnishing all the required data and correct particulars, click the “Submit” button to proceed to the next page. After the form is submitted, a preview of the the filled-in application will appear on the screen. Candidate must print this page for future references

To complete the registration process, candidate must upload the scanned copies of the following documents:

  1. Receipt form from AP Online / Citizen Services Centre Credit Card / Debit Card
  2. Marks Memo / Hall Ticket Number of Degree or equivalent
  3. Birth Certificate / SSC or Equivalent Certificate
  4. SSC or Equivalent Certificate
  5. The local candidate certificate issued by MRO or Competent Authority
  6. The Income certificate issued by MRO / Competent Authority
  7. The Caste Certificate issued by the MRO / Competent Authority
  8. The Certificate issued by Competent Authority


Admission Process

LLM

  • Selection of the candidates to LL.B. 3/5 years programme is done on the basis of rank in the merit list of APLAWCET-2018 entrance examination.
  • Selection of the candidate to LL.M. course is done on the basis of marks scored in APPGLCET-2018 entrance examination.
