Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha M.Ed and Ph.D Admissions 2018

Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha is a deemed university which was established in 1956. The university was certified under UGC Act of section 3 in the field of higher learning in Sanskrit studies, Traditional Sastras and Sanskrit Teacher Education. It is also re-accredited by NAAC with A grade.

Universityoffers various under graduate (UG), post graduate (PG) and Research; programmes in following various disciplines:

Under graduate course:

  • Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.)

Post graduate course:

  • Siksha Acharya (M.Ed.)

Research course:

  • Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D.)

Candidate can get admission to the Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.) course through CSSET-2016 entrance test, in Siksha Acharya (M.Ed.) course through CSAET entrance testand in Ph.D course through CVVET and interviewconducted by the university.

Candidates can register themselves to the above mentioned UG course by submitting the application fee along with DD of amount Rs. 200/-.

Candidates can register themselves to the above mentioned PG & Research course by submitting the application fee through DD of amount Rs. 1000/-.

Eligibility

Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.):-

Eligibility

  • Candidates must have passed Sastri / BA (Sanskrit) or equivalent in 10+2+3 pattern with minimum 50% marks or pass 2 years Sastri / BA (Sanskrit) or equivalent with 50% marks or pass one year bridge course/ setu or one year aharaya/ MA (Sanskrit) with 50% marks.
  • Candidates who are appearing for qualifying examination can also apply.
  • 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ST candidates.

Age limit eligibility

Candidate age should be minimum 20 years on October, 2018.


How To Apply

B.Ed & M.Ed

For Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.) course

  • Candidates can download application form and prospectus from university website “http://rsvidyapeetha.ac.in”
  • Candidates can also obtain the application form by post after submitting amount of Rs. 250/- by DD in favour of The Registrar, R.S.Vidyapeetha, Tirupati payable at Tirupati
  • Candidates have to submit their filled in application form along with prospectus in person by DD of amount Rs. 200 from any Nationalised bank drawn in favour of The Registrar, R.S.Vidyapeetha, Tirupati payable at Tirupati or challan in the Andhra Bank, R.S.Vidyapeetha branch, Tirupati
  • Incomplete applications received after the due date will be rejected
  • Candidate must attend the interview with original documents and 3 sets of photocopies of documents on specified date and time.
  • If the candidate is not present physically, the candidate will lose their seat.
  • Candidate admission will be confirmed after interview and written test conducted by the university.
  • Candidates must bring the following original documents at the time of interview which are as below:
  1. Provisional/pass certificate of the last qualifying examination for admission.
  2. Marks obtained in each examination right from Matriculation/SSC/OSLC to the last qualifying examination.
  3. Transfer certificate
  4. Study certificate
  5. Date of birth certificate
  6. Conduct certificate
  7. Caste & Income certificates for
  8. Migration certificate
  9. SC,ST and OBC Students
  10. Passport size photos -5+1 stamp size

For PG & Research:

  • Candidates can download the application form from the website “http://rsvidyapeetha.ac.in” and send it along with DD of amount Rs. 1000/- at New Delhi.
  • Candidates have to submit their filled in application form in person by DD of amount Rs. 1000 in favour of authorized person as decided by exam conducting body.
  • Candidates can also obtain application form by post after submitting amount of Rs. 1050/- by DD in favour of authorized person as decided by exam conducting body.
  • Incomplete applications received after the due date will be rejected.

Admission Process

B.Ed & M.Ed

  • Selection of the candidates to the Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.) course based on CSSET-2018 entrance test.
  • Selection of the candidates to the Siksha Acharya (M.Ed.) and Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D.) courses is carried through CSAET 2016 entrance test and CVVET-2016 entrance test respectively.


Reservation

Reseravtion of seats in the university is as per the exsisting norms of UGC or by government of India. Seats reservation in various categories are as follows:-

  • 15% seats are reserved for the SC candidates and 7½% seats are reserved for the ST category candidates.
  • 27% sets are reserved for the OBC category candidates.
  • 3% seats are reserved for the person with disability and few seats are also reserved for the children of the employees of the Vidyapeetha


Notes

Scholarship

  • 25 students from Prak-Sastri, 5 from each Sastra at Sastri level and 10 from each Sastra at Acharya level will be awarded Scholarship as per rules
  • Candidate will get scholarship on the basis of their percentage of marks in the last qualifying examination.
  • Scholarship will be given only for 10 months in a year.

Hostel

  • University provide 4 hostels for men candidates and separate 3 hostels for research candidates
  • University also provides separate hostel for women candidate.
