Andhra University is one of the oldest universities in India established in 1926. It is located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Today, the Campus offers 17 undergraduate and 35 postgraduate programmes, besides research on par with technical institutions worldwide. The university designed and implemented a Quality Management System and became the first general university in the country to get ISO 9001: 2000 Certification in 2006. The institution has had Sir C.R. Reddy as its founder Vice chancellor and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as the second Vice-Chancellor

In a recent survey conducted by Star News, AUCE (A) has been rated at first position among the state owned technical institutions in the country. The college is support by Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP), a World Bank funded project to develop technical education in the country. TEQIP necessitated autonomous status to the College. AUCE (A) stands at No.1 position in implementing the programme in the country.

The University invites applications for admission to the four year,Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Programmes in various specializations for the academic year 2016-17. The admissions for the programmes will take place through the AUEET 2016 - Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test to be held on May 5th, 2018. The applications for admission must be submitted online between March 9th, 2018 and March 16th, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria:

You should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for reserved category in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
If you are appearing for the 10+2 examination, you are also eligible to apply. However, you must have studied in regular, full-time, formal stream in the School.


How To Apply

BE/B.Tech

You should fill the Application Form online on the university website.

You should fill the Application Form with the required details.

You should also select your choice of centres from Visakhapatnam, Kakinada and Vijayawada.

Application Fee: You should Registration and Application Processing Fee of Rs.1000 (Plus Bank charges applicable for the mode of payment selected) as (and late fee if applicable) by opting any of the following modes of payments: Andhra Bank / State Bank of India Challan, Debit / Credit Card / or Net Banking.

After filling the online Application form with the required details, you should verify all the details carefully and press Submit button.

Your filled in Application Form will be generated that contains Application number along with filled details.

You should then take print out of filled in Online Application Form.

You must use the Application number for future correspondence till the admission process including the counselling is completed.

Your registration process is now complete.


Admission Process

BE/B.Tech

You will be selected on the basis of AUEET 2018 - Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test.

The paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 100 marks. It will be for a duration of 90 minutes. It will consist of 3 sections with questions based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each part contains 30 multiple choice questions. You should answer all questions in each part. The Mathematics section contains 40 questions and is for 40 marks and the Physics and Chemistry part contain 30 questions and carrying 30 marks each.

You should be able to clear the cut off decided by the University.


Reservation

The reservation criteria will be as per the policy of the Government of A.P. that is existing in respect of SC, ST, BCs, CAP, PH, NCC and Sports categories.

  • Overall, 85% of the available seats in each course and category will be reserved in favour of the Local Candidates from the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam belonging to Andhra University area.
  • 33.33% of the seats in each course shall be reserved in favour of women candidates in each category.
  • 3% of overall seats will be reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates.

Hello Merapureddy, To Get admission in B.tech course, Candidates must follow the steps which are mention below:

  • Candidates fill the Application Form online  with the required details on the university website.
  • They should also select your choice of centres from Visakhapatnam, Kakinada and Vijayawada.
  • Now pay the Registration and Application Processing Fee of Rs.1000
  • After filling the online Application form with the required details, you should verify all the details carefully and press Submit button.
  • Now registration process is now complete.
