Central University of Orissa B.Ed, BCA and B.Sc Admissions 2018

Established in 2009, Central University of Orissa is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) which imparts professional and non-professional education, research and training. It is one of the 15 new Central Universities established by the Government of India during the UGC XI Plan period.

The Universityoffers the following under graduate (UG) and integrated courses to its students every year:

Under graduate course:

  • B.Ed. – (2 years)
  • BCA – (3 years)

Integrated course:

  • M.Sc. – (5 years)

Only candidates with the relevant qualification are eligible to apply for the above mentioned programmes.

Candidates can register for admission by submitting completed applications along with the fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/ PwD candidates) through challan at any SBI branch. Admission to the above programmes is done on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the entrance test conducted by the university.

Eligibility

B.Ed

  • Candidate must possess at least 50% marks in bachelor’s degree (Science/Arts) or at least 50% marks in master’s degree (Science/Arts) from this university or any other recognized degree.
  • Candidate must possess at least 55% marks in Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics from this university or any other recognized degree.
  • 5% relaxation of marks will be given to SC/ ST/ PwD candidates

BCA

  • Candidate must have cleared 10+2 examination in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized Board with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
  • 5% relaxation of marks will be given to SC/ ST/ PwD candidates

Age limit eligibility:-

Candidate age should not be more than 25 years

Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] + Master of Science [M.Sc] (Mathematics)

  • Candidate must have cleared 10+2 examination in Science from a recognized Board with Mathematics and Physics as subjects by securing minimum 55% aggregate marks and 55% marks in mathematics.
  • 5% relaxation of marks will be given to SC/ ST/ PwD candidates

Age limit eligibility:-

Candidate age should not be more than 25 years

  • Candidates can apply online by filling the concerned application form through the university website “www.cuo.ac.in”
  • Candidate must submit the processing fee amount Rs. 500/- (General/OBC candidates) and Rs. 250/- (for SC/ST/PwD candidates) through challan at any SBI branch (A/C No. 33105489656; IFSC Code: SBIN0000121, BRANCH: Koraput)
  • Upon completion of the online application process, candidates are required to send hard copy of the application form along with the university copy of challan through speed post at the following address:

Offline application forms:
