Jiwaji University B.Tech & M.Tech Admission 2017

Jiwaji University invites application for admission 2017 for B.Tech and M.Tech courses. The university was established in 1964 in Gwalior, through M.P. Govt. Ordinance no. 15 of 1963. Candidate can apply for both the courses till July 12th 2017 (tentative). The institute of engineering was established by Jiwaji University, Gwalior in 2000. It has completed twelve years of academic excellence till now.

The course readily imparts education in the field of Electronics Engineering, Chemical, Engineering and Computer Science leading to the degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech). These courses also produce and generates potential manpower for industries by providing job opportunities for young and aspiring students. The M.Tech. Programs will certainly help the students to inculcate the research aptitude in these branches of engineering.

B.Tech Eligibility

  • Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) / Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
  • The mode of selection for the suitable candidate is through MPDTE Bhopal of JEE Main.

ME/M.Tech

Duration: Two Years

Seats: 20 (In total)

Electronics Engineering -10, Chemical Engineering = 10

  • Candidate must have passed B.E. /B. Tech. or equivalent examination approved by the AICTE in appropriate branch with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.
  • 5% relaxation to candidates belonging to SC/ST categories in the qualifying marks as per the norms of State Government of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Priority/Preference will be given to candidates who are GATE qualified.


How to Apply

BE/B.Tech & ME/M.Tech

  • Suitable candidate can apply for admission by filling up application form online, by navigating to the official website of the Jiwaji University.
  • Payment for the application can be made ONLINE through credit/debit card or by net-banking.
  • The application fee is INR 600/- Candidate can submit admission form for maximum of five courses.
  • Separate registration fee of INR 200/- per course has to be deposited, in addition to the application fees.
  • The printout of admission form along with the Photocopies of the Marks Sheet and other required documents (SC/ST/OBC/FF/PH/Kashmiri migrant/ Parsi / Staff Ward / NRI / NCC / NSS / Sports etc.) are required to be submitted on the following address either by Speed Post or in person:

Candidate can also submit the application at Central Library by hand.

NOTE: M.Sc. Neuroscience is DBT sponsored programme. Candidates admitted shall get a fellowship of INR 3000/- per month. Categories like SC, ST, OBC, FF & Physical handicapped will be allotted seats as per MP Govt. / University rules.

Admission of suitable candidates will be based on merit of entrance test conducted by university. Students with valid GATE score are also eligible to apply
