Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai B. Chem. Engg, B.Tech and B.Pharm Admission 2017

Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai is on the premier institutions in the field of Chemical Technology in India. It is a deemed university situated in the state of Maharashtra and also funded by the state’s government. ICT Mumbai is rated as number one in Chemical Engineering and Technology field in India and number one among all non-USA universities, according to the surveys conducted by Georgia Tech.

ICT offers B. Chem. Engg., B.Tech. and B.Pharm Programs. Candidates are invited to apply for the desired course for the session of 2017-18. Application forms for B.Tech and B.Chem. Engg. will be available from June 5, 2017 to June 18, 2017.

Online registration for MH-CET for B.Pharm course will start from March 26, 2017 to April 5, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor of Chemical Engineering , Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Dyestuff and Intermediates Technology) & Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Food Engineering)

  • The candidates willing to apply for B.Tech programme must be 10+2 passed with at least 50% (45% in case of Backward categories and PWD students of Maharashtra State only) marks from a recognized school with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry /Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
  • Or have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for Backward & PWD students)
  • Or have passed B.Sc. Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for backward class & PWD candidates).
  • The Candidate should be an Indian National.
  • Students with valid JEE Main score are eligible to apply.

B.Pharm

The candidates applying for B.Pharm must be 10+2 passed with at least 50% (45% in case of Backward categories and Persons with Disability candidates of Maharashtra State only) marks from a recognized school with subjects English, Physics, Math and Chemistry /Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.


How To Apply

Students have to apply online by navigating to the official website of ICT Mumbai by paying INR 1000 as the application fees. The candidates desire to take admission in ICT Mumbai in the Under Graduate programs need to fill in the application for CAP (Centralized Admission Process)


Admission Process

Bachelor of Chemical Engineering , Bachelor of Pharmacy [B.Pharm] & Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Dyestuff and Intermediates Technology)

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the merit list.  A joint Merit list will be prepared for all the candidates who have applied. The candidates who will be selected will be called for a Common Counseling.

  1. Initial screening will be done on the basis of the eligibility criteria.
  2. For B.Pharm. candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks in MH-CET.
  3. For B.Tech. the candidates will be selected on the basis of their JEE Mains score.

User Facts:

  1. Students must note that for B. Chem. Engg. and B.Tech programs 70% seats (through MH-CET) will be filled from Maharashtra state only & rest of the seats (through JEE Mains)will be filled from all over India.
  2. For B.Pharm programme, all seats will be filled from Maharashtra state only.
