The course free in my academic period (2010-2014) was pretty low. 2000 rupees was the per month fees. Students with financial problem were allowed to apply for the full and half free-ship. The free-ship were awarded on the basis of family income and the academic results.
I took the Information Technology course. It was pretty good. Generally there is no such different between Information Technology and Computer Science Engineering course. So you can choose any one of those. The course covers all the core subjects such as OS, Networking, Data structures, Algorithms. Also you will be exposed to different languages ex Java, C, C++.
The fee structure is feasible for the CSE and ECE departments it's about 10000 per semester for ME and EE it's 7000 per semester and for IT it's 17000 per semester this seems to be feasible for every student however these figures include every thing.
Yes definitely the course curriculum is very good.. There is a scope of research too. There are separate department for Research scholars. Course curriculum is strictly under MAKAUT(MAULANA ABUL KALAM AZAD UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY). The syllabus is excellent and lucid. With a intention to inculcate the extra curricular skills in the pupils.
Very much feasible, mine was Rs. 6000/- tution fee only per semester excuding nominal exam, lab fees etc.KGEC is a government engineering college affiliated to West Bengal University of Technolgy, now renamed as Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.
KGEC has 5 streams in B.Tech and MCA with great placement records but I would say the University Curriculum is not good enough for research unless the student takes personal ownership. There are IT, CSE, ECE, EE, ME courses predefined by WBUT now renamed as MAKAUT.
Fees structure 9000 per semester. 1000 per semester for examination Fees.
Our IT fee structure is 24000/year if you are under TFW then no fees needed.
As the name suggest its a government college fees will not be an issue.
From research prospective i would rate 6 out of 10. Course structure or syllabus is not up to the mark i.e. it is okay type.
I was looking for a college of low fees structure. This college had the fee structure very low.i paid total four thousand for the entire course of three years.the examination fees was six hundred for each semester.
The course was basically based on computer application. Different types of curriculum was set up for different semester. the practical facilities was excellent.
Fees structures is very less as its a government engineering college. Admission fees is Rs 6000. And per semesters fees is avg. Rs 6000. The exam fees per semester is Rs 1000. The hotel expenses is very low. It's about Rs 1300 per month for full accommodation.
Here five depts are there in B.tech (EE,ME, ECE, IT, CSE ). Apart from this here M.Tech and MCA are there. Here lots of faculty members in all departments. But all faculty members are not so specific.
Fee is quite low compared to others. Only 3000 per semester compared to 40000 of others college.Mess charges are 2000 including rent.Being government institution most of the charges are born by government.
Course is organised by WBUT and is quite good considering practical experience.
As it's in an government college so hostel and mess fees are cheaper in comparison to other colleges and hostels are available for each and every student if he/she wants it.
My college is awesome if we consider it from the merit list of Entrance Examination.Infrustucture is very good and also lab facilities is ample for the students. Maximum teachers in my discipline is uncapable to teach, persue and motivate students.
