Job opportunities and placement offered to an NM college student are much better as compared to other general colleges. However to improve your chances and make it more brighter, its better to supplement it with a diploma or any part time NMIMS courses.
No for undergraduate courses there is no internship. In fact its a full time degree course. If a student is interested in any kind of internship, he/she can enquire in NMIMS college which is sister concern of NM college.
Around 20 companies visited just to hire us in 2015. So the placement cell of NM college is outstanding. We were first trained for the interviews during our college days like how to dress up , how to talk, how to express your doubts etc by our placement cell.
Yes, the college provides internship but i have no idea about the general stipend that were given to the students who qualify for the same.
The most well-known and prestigious companies who come among the top 4 companies in the city have come to our for placements and recruitment's the training sessions for the interviews had also been held in our college. it has been the great opportunity for the placement and job.
Yes, they do provide internships from the college premises itself. the opportunities for placing into a well-known company while going from valid and feasible companies and going through the interviews has been done by my college. i haven't been experienced any internship from my college so have no idea about the stipend.
During the start of the final year, the students are trained in their soft skills by the placement cell. It is extremely helpful and effective. The quality of the companies coming is extremely high. Companies like JP Morgan, KPMG, ICICI Bank, Edelweiss, E&Y, etc come in the first few weeks of the placements.
Internships are not provided by the college but the college has a placement cell which helps the students in improving their soft skills to get the job.
Campus placements happen every year and good corporate and CA firms like ENY, Delloite etc offer opportunities.
No as far as B.Com course is concerned there is no facility for internship.
No placements were there from our college. As our college is commerce related so no placements from various companies were offered to our college
No internship was required for our course but I was pursuing ca with my bcom so had to do 3 yrs internship under CA as per rule and was paid 4000 as stipend. Stipend depends upon scale if operations

Since ours was the best college we had the best commerce minds in the city. Almost 80% of the students enrolled for Chartered Accountancy course during their college which enabled them to have better job opportunities afterwards.
Our course need not require us to undergo any internship program. However, being part of the college festivals was good enough to give us corporate experience.
I haven't applied for one yet. But yes, one can get good internships though the Placement Cell of the college. Stipends are attractive. One can attend the Soft skills programme in order apply for placements and internships by the college. A lot of companies come to offer posts for the students at NM.Companies include KPMG, Accenture, Tata, Crisil, Deloitte, Edelweiss and many more. Log on to: www.nmcollege.in for details.
Placements were good. Companies like TCS, wipro, P&G had come. Average CTC offered was 1.75 lacs per annum.
