The Army Institute of Management, Kolkata also known as AIMK, is one of the leading management schools of India. It was established way back on 28 July, 1997 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), New Delhi

AIMK, being a fully residential Institute, 100% separate well-furnished facilities are available, for the male and the female students. The hostels are equipped with all sophisticated facilities.
2 separate well-facilitated multi-gyms are available in the Institute campus for male and female students.
The Institute encourages sports activities and provides facilities for volleyball, table tennis, basketball, football, cricket, lawn tennis, badminton etc. Sports meet is held annually for the students.
There are 8 different clubs form the overall Students’ Club of AIMK in which separate, well-demarcated responsibilities are taken up by each of the clubs.The clubs functional at the Institute are:
Sampark – The club looks to add value to all the HR-related policies and functions of the institute.
Awaaz – For all types of society and community-related activities, the members of this club are responsible.
E-cell – Entrepreneurship development activities are looked after by this club.
Vikreta – A fun element is added to all the marketing drives and processes conducted by the institute.
Striker – This club is in charge of organizing all the sports activities during ‘Inferno’, the annual fest of AIM Kolkata.
Akriti – Akriti looks to draw out unexpressed thoughts and feelings from people, through a wide range of innovative activities.
Renaissance – Personality development of the students is the prime concern of this club. Students are also helped to become more skilful.
Kuber – Familiarity with the latest financial and economic trends is fostered through the activities of this club.
Inferno - The Inter B-School meet a two-day affair conducted annually.
Symposium - Symposium are conducted on a regular basis.
Dristikon - Budget discussion conducted annually.
Annual Day - Celebrated annually to commemorate the foundation day of the Institute.
