Hostels were quite good, quite close to college building. Location of these two hostels was just perfect near marine drive.
JBIMS does have a shared hostel facility along with Mumbai University students. The hostel intake is 30 from MMS and is close to Churchgate station, a 5-minute walk to the college. The hostel is allocated on basis of merit to students who are from outside Mumbai. As many students happen to be from the city itself, they live in their homes. Other students live in rented apartments or PGs. The rentals can vary from 5k/month to 12k/month depending on the area of residence and specific requirements.
Hostel available for out of Mumbai students (university hostel at marine drive) location brilliant, cheap, food/ living conditions average.
Hostel facilities are average, not as good as compared to other management institutes, however for the fees charged and given an expensive city like Mumbai, it is great value for money. Canteen food again is average, however there are many eating joints around college so not much of an issue
I did not stay in hostel as I am a localite. However, from the experiences of those who stayed in hostels, it feels like the hostel atmosphere was vibrant and lively. Although quality of rooms and Infra was not so good, students enjoyed at hostels.
There is not hostel facility available. The college canteen is average.
