Nope. I did not avail for loan facilities as my father was willing to part with the money. There were a few students with loans (10-15% of the overall batch), who had jobs previously and weren't used to taking money from their parents. In today's world, for middle class parents, coughing up 7-8 lacs is not a big deal for a dude's MBA.
Yes, students having weak economic background were provided with scholarships. Loan facility is provided by the college via banks and liberal fee payment terms were considered for students if they approach the college management with their issues in writing.
I did not avail and hence have not much idea about the scholarship/ loan facility offered. Educational loan was availed by many students.
There is no loan or scholarship facility given. Students can opt for education loan on their own. College has no tie up for such things. It is all dependent upon student choice.
Students loan is available from various banks. Had not heard of any scholarships though. So cannot comment on that part.
Scholarship loans were not available from the college but bank loans were very easily available for students interested in it.
There are various loans that a student can take. We have the college listed in various banks. I took loan for studies from oriental bank of commerce. The management also helps in giving various opportunities.
There was a facility for minority students no there scholarships were provided, loan facility was provided by bank educational loan and tata scholarship was provided but that was not related to college.
Yes loan facility is available for the students. Haven't availed one so don't have the exact details. Leading Banks do provide loans for students at Somaiya.
Almost all the banks give loan hassle free. Banks like central bank of india gives loan for hostel fees and mess also. The grade or rank of college is good and the fees which helps us immensely to get the loan easily.
