The reason why students (well, most of them!) join MBA. Placements at XLRI have been great over the years.Despite the locational disadvantage, XLRI is the preferred choice of recruiters.in my batch almost all were placed, The ones who didnt, it was by choice as they wanted to pursue entrepreneurial initiatives.
The MBA programme was divided into 4 semesters. The first two semesters were common for all the candidates and remaining two includes electives, project works and international immersion programme. The placement for this program was unavailable at the time i passed out. It is difficult for a program like this to have placements as a lot of students are sponsored by their organizations and it is difficult if the same students opt for placements and move to other organizations.
There was no stipend or internship offered for this course as this is an executive course and a virtual program overall. So i cant comment for this section.
Companies like TCS, IBM, GOOGLE, TATA MOTARS, COAL INDIA, ETC visit the campus and they pay around 500000 to 100000 depending on various factors.
