Placement -

There is nothing like placements & job opportunities in bachelor of commerce course. You have to find job on your own. There are placements and job opportunities for MBA students. I have never seen any companies visiting our college. But I heard about 7 lakh per annum packages for mba students.

Internship -

There is nothing like internship in bachelor of commerce course. For other courses they do have (industrial visit ).

Placement -

Placements are good one of my friends had joined that. His experience is good, he is doing CA.He has cleared CPT and he is now doing his internship with tata consultancy so now he need not to go for internship after his IPCC as he is already doing it now.

Internship -

Yes it provides, indirectly i mean through other companies many companies had came to offer us a job(internship) along with our graduation studies students who were interested were supposed to fill up a form and submit the same we were offered stipend of rs.1500/2000 pm depending upon the company. Tata consultancy had also came to offer us internship.

Placements and job oppurtunities are really great, as its a big college many companies come for placements. and they hire in bulk, huge hirings. most recommendable. Companies are big, they offer great pay structure as well. for bachelors it varies from 2.4 LPA to 3.6 LPA.

Internship -

Placement -

Placement and job opportunities are really good in our college companies like TCS, L&T, bajaj finance are hiring fresh candidates with very good annual package of more than 1.5lakhs .

Internship -

I didn't join any internship from my college because I'm not interested to work from now only. I'm focusing in my studies because have to work all the life well one of my friend worked in doormint as as intern and the general stipend is 3k .

Placement -

There was no placement from our college. Students themselves figure out where they want to place themselves. There are soo many different job options for media student, I think it's difficult to get a company to college. Students make connections in the industry on their own and get a job.

Internship -

There was no internship that was provided from the college. The students searched it themselves. Generally a PR intern is offered around 5k to 7k. It depends from company to company some firms don't order anything.

Placement -

Placement and job oppurtunities are not good as the students are not inform about the interviews. And students don't know about the companies and interviews.

Internship -

Students are not provided with internship. And students are not even informed about the internship. Bcom students are not given importance when it comes to internship and not even other stream student.

Best Time of Lyf at Somaiya College

Placement -

Placements are good. Companies take bulk of students at one time. So it's very great as before Graduation we have job in hands, which is very good as we don't have much pressure after graduation to find companies and get job.

Internship -

There was on campus placements in Somaiya college and offcampus placements too. BIg MNC like Patni, Accenture, Wipro, L&T had came in Campus for placements. There was huge crowd who got placements.Thier basic criteria is to have 60% throught SSC and HSC, and some companies do check thier other criteria like maths marks, Science marks.
