Hostel is available for students both for boys and girls Every student can get pgs Sharing is of 2 and 4 both But college has limited seats Students need to be quick due to less seats Standards are maintained as proper food and clean water is provided with clean surroundings Fees of pg is less Rs 2500 per month on an average Is changes every year
Though i did not take up the hostel facilities because it has limited amount of seats, but it was pretty good for a government college. The food was college and contained nutrional values. The hostel had a nominal fee structure of about 25,000 for the whole year including the food.
I haven't lived in the college hostel to comment on the same. However, as heard from my friends, the rooms are quite comfortable and the food is reasonable too.
Hostel charges were INR 30,000 p.a and which were too high for facilities provided by it still I opted to stay there only. Cafeteria was also a disappointing factor as it had limited variety of food.
The College has a Boys and Girls Hostel within its campus to accommodate students who come from the different parts of the country. The Boys Hostel has provision for accommodation for one hundred and fifty students across various semesters. The Girls Hostel provides accommodation to fifty three students. Hostel has a separate dining hall, common room and washroom area within the hostel. The rooms are furnished. The Mess is operated thrice a day at breakfast, at lunch and at dinner. Wi-Fi facility is also available in the Hostel. Laundry services are separately provided within the campus for residents. The mess food is average.
The hostel facilities were great. The rooms were neat and clean with adequate security in place. The mess food was though not of very good standard but we had seen great improvement in the same. The average yearly stay was close to 10-12 thousand per year with food costing around 1.5 thousand per month (all meals).
Hostel is good, mess is average and limited number of seats so tough to get the hostel.
Hostel is good i am not in hostel but my friends says that hostel is good but food is not enough good as name shri ram college of commerce must have.
Admission into hostel is merit based. With only 50 seats in girls hostel, that too divided into 3 years and taking quota into consideration, it's very difficult. Clearly I did not get the hostel. So, all I can suggest is, SRCC can really do with hostels with more capacity.
Hostels fascilities are great they are coed girls nd boys hostels are separate mess food fascilities are good too food are very cheap.
