The college admission requires CMAT/MAT/XAT/CAT or KMAT score to be eligible for admission. With the help of that score, you need to apply online on the GIBS website. Your academics, job experience, management exam score and GD/PI score decide whether you are admitted to the college for the MBA.
The placement scene is good here because the college has the advantage of being close to Bangalore. Most students get jobs in Bangalore only. The placement cell trains students properly to handle the interviews. Good brands like Amazon, IBM, Infosys, Berger paints, etc have come to recruit managers here.
Students will have to write an entrance exam such as MAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT or State Level Entrance Exam to get admitted into this course. Then you have to apply online for the admission on the college website. This is followed by a GD/PI round. They also give weightage to graduation marks and work experience.
The placement cell has excellent tie-ups with corporate companies and they take a lot o efforts to achieve 100% placements. Very big brands come to the campus every year for recruitment. They have arranged placements with many companies like Berger Paints, ACT, Justdial, BharatMatrimony, PWC, LIC, Reliance, ICICI, etc.
I have visited the campus and found it really beautiful and peaceful. Really gonna attract the attention. The expectations at the level of the sky above haven't gone in vein. the college had performed every promise they had made for our first semester. As a student, we have received great support from management and teachers. The college aims for the development of soft skills of the pupil while the management also aims for the successful placement of the students. The placement advisory board is thriving the best to place every student in the near future. overall I have to say GIBS had made good justice towards the promises.
XAT + GB/Pi performance is taken into consideration. The college accepts online admissions only.
The problem is that this college is not recognised by the AICTE. I suggest that you opt for an institute recognised by the AICTE only.
You can give CAT/MAT/ATMA, etc. The admission process is fairly easy. It is not very, very difficult to secure a seat here. My rank was not all that high so I opted for this college.
To be very honest, I have had my best educational experience at GIBS. I am the topper of the college in First and Second semesters of MBA.
Any national entrance test like CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT etc and then application through the online application procedure. The college then selects students for the GD/PI round. Selected candidates are admitted to the programme.
It’s not one of the college one should opt for, please consider different option.
XAT CAT KMAT MAT are accepted. They have an online application process.
I had given XAT. Since I am not a Karnataka candidate, I was allowed to take the admission interview over phone.
Very good companies come here. Recruitments have been done by Club Mahindra, ITC, KPMG, Numerify, Infosys, Taj Hotels, TCS, Wipro, etc. Proximity to Bangalore helps.
CAT score is required before applying online. Then there is GD/PI session for final selection.
Placements are good. Once you get an offer by a company, you can't sit for recruitment session by another company. However, you can appear for interviews externally with other companies even if you have a job offer.
CMAT/XAT/CAT/GMAT. Online application form + GD/PI
Good companies come here for recruitments Accenture, Amul, Facebook, Google, SAP, Taj Group of Hotels, Tata, etc. have come for hiring.
I had given the KMAT. They have an online application procedure. Admission process takes into consideration your entrance exam score, previous academics, GD/PI performance and work experience.
The college sees many companies like Raymonds, Britannia, Airtel, TCS, Wipro, HSBC, Club Mahindra, etc come for placements every year. Very good packages are offered and most students get job offers.
