Duration

Usually, the duration of B. Pharm. is of four years and MBA is of two years when taken separately but as a dual degree the course spans for 5 years, which is beneficial for the students, usually, divided in two semesters each year. The student gets a degree of B. Pharm. and MBA upon successful completion of the course.

Eligibility Of the Bachelor of Pharmacy [B.Pharm] + Master of Business Administration [MBA]

The minimum eligibility for B. Pharm. is 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics as the main subjects. While, for MBA Pharmacy, the minimum eligibility is B. Pharm. when taken separately and on the other hand, the dual degree requires a minimum eligibility of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 examination. English is the major prerequisite for the course as all correspondence is made in English language. 

How to Get Admission in Bachelor of Pharmacy [B.Pharm] + Master of Business Administration [MBA]

The admission process to the dual degree program in ShobhabenPratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy and Technology Management is based on the marks in 10+2 along with the scores of a candidate in the entrance exam- NMAT. The NMAT is mainly designed for the selection of candidates for the course MBA (Pharm. Tech.) in NarseeMonjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

It is objective questions based aptitude exam which tests the language skills, data interpretation, logical reasoning and quantitative skills of the candidate. The candidates who clear the entrance exam are required to go for the second phase of the selection procedure which involves the personal interview conducted at the Mumbai campus of the institute.
