Q 1. Kindly tell us about your experience in the education industry and what makes it the best industry to work in?
Ans. Happiness and satisfaction are two major things what a human tends to achieve in life. I find teaching as the best profession to achieve these. Training and grooming students to be a good person and responsible citizen in life will be one of my satisfying achievements.
Q 2. Any of the significant challenges you faced as the Director of S P Memorial Institute of Technology?
Ans. The challenge for this institution in particular and in general also is always to improve the academic ambiance. To make this institution as one of the research institutions is a “dream come true”. Rest will follow itself.
Q 3. How does your curriculum ensure best practices of the industry?
Ans. Our curriculum is designed by Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, which ensures the best practices of the Industries.
However, besides the curriculum, we ensure the regular visits to industries to let the students be aware of the best practices of the Industries.
Q 4. What goals do you have in your mind for S P Memorial Institute of Technology?
Ans. To prepare a generation of engineering students who are ready to take up issues faced by Society, both in local such as cost effective solar energy as well as global such as secure cyber space. In this context, we are part of “Unnat Bharat Abhiyan” and “Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna”.
Q 5. You pride yourself on the level of education and responsibility you teach here to students. How do you ensure the quality of education in your institution?
Ans. By responding as effectively and quickly as possible to the needs of students, who are our primary stakeholders.
This is a well-known fact that in the field of engineering, technology changes quicker than the educational curricula and as such it is intended to transform the students to become self-learners to fill in this gap.
Q 6. How do you build a positive school culture or climate?
Ans. Self–discipline, self–learning, collaboration and honesty are the pillars for building a positive culture.
Q 7. How do you tend to establish a relation with the students?
Ans. Equitable attention, correcting students in a constructive and learning environment and empathizing with them certainly strengthens the bond.
Q 8. How do you look at the growth of students through placement opportunities available at S P Memorial Institute of Technology? How do you wish to push the envelope further?
Ans. The purpose is to provide opportunities to improve the students’ employability skills and competencies to enhance the achievements. However, self – sustenance teaches them to be mindful of the values and sensitivities of life which are the fundamental goal.
The constant increase in acceptance of the students by the industries is our aim. All needed efforts are being made for state of art training of the students as per industry requirements.
Q 9. What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?
Ans. The leadership should be Visionary, motivational and communicative and the style I prefer is Transformational.
Q 10. Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?
