Education is the sole key for social advancement like breaking the cycles of poverty, creating opulence, promoting peace, and many other things that give hope and meaning to our experiences as individuals and members of the society.  At the end of the day, it all starts with a textbook and a teacher you love. It is for this unique privilege education still remains as the best industry to work in.

Ques 2: Any of the significant challenges you faced in IIBS?

Ans. Finding the right faculty for right field is one of the biggest challenges we face these days. Education is not limited to indoor in modern times. A student has to do a lot of field work to complete their graduation and if right faculty is not present to guide them in right direction student often feels lost. A teacher has to provide their students with tripod of education, innovation and entrepreneurship. They are also entrusted with a massive duty of shaping out the youth of today. This helps to transform a student into knowledgeable and responsible citizen with good values and culture.

Ques 3: What goals do you have in your mind for IIBS?

Ans. Providing students with state-of-the-art facilities for delivery of education is one of the biggest goals. This will give our students an edge over the students of other B-Schools and Universities. The next goal will certainly be getting in touch with the students. Taking their feedback from various phases of their education will help us know if we are up-to-date with current technology and facilities. This will also bridge the gap between the management and student which will enable IIBS to maintain good ranking among other colleges and schools.

Ques 4: Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

Ans. Being successful often means learning from those who have already achieved their goals. A student should do the work that they truly believe in. This will give them a lot of satisfaction. They should not be afraid of taking risks. A student should always believe in oneself. This will help them to find a way out of any obstacle. A student should always try to have a clear vision of their goal. They should quit talking about their goals and start working on it. This will help them in achieving them in a much hassle-free way. They should learn to rise up when they fall and make sure that they learn from their mistakes. Being a successful student takes a lot of work, a lot of vision and a lot of perseverance. These tips will help them navigate the path much more easily.

Ques 5: How do you look at the growth of students through placement opportunities available at IIBS? How do you wish to push the envelope further?

Ans. From the students’ perspective, high quality placements can bring a range of benefits and positive impacts. There is strong evidence to suggest that placements and work experience are extremely valuable to students, both in terms of their academic performance and their employability skills. IIBS argues that such opportunities may alleviate barriers for the employment of graduates, we encourage and provide equal opportunities to all wherever possible.

Ques 6: How do you tend to establish a good relation with the students?

Ans. No two people can create the same relationship with a student, but everyone can create a relationship. We try to interact with them as much as possible so that they trust us and have a feeling that their voices are being heard. This helps us in establishing a good rapport with our students which in turn helps the college in a positive way.

Ques 7: Tell us about your path towards attaining the positions of elite?

Ans. Students and faculty are the backbone of any academic institution and it is essential that any administrator maintains active interaction with them to ensure the highest standards of achievement. A good challenging and intellectual environment is basically a demand made by student and faculty alike. We make sure that our students generate and grab opportunities as and when they get it. At the end of the day, a college is judged based on the education they provide and placement percentage. We make sure that we come out with good results in both fields that propels us to a position of elite.

Ques 8: How do you build a positive school culture or climate?

Ans. Life is about relationships. Building a positive environment in individual classrooms and throughout school is very important. It takes commitment and consistency from the whole team—administrators, teachers and support staff. Success in creating a well-managed school depends on the quality of the relationships that teachers forge with students more than anything else. Every classroom environment contributes to your school culture. Establishing classroom and school-wide rules and procedures is an important step in any effort to bring more structure to your school.

Ques 9: What are your takes on education being digitalized?

Ans. The education system in India’s metros and other cities has also become modernized to a great extent. Making way for digitalization and IIBS is not too far. Technology has made imparting education stress-free for both students and educators. Classroom teaching has become more and more interactive nowadays with the use of digital methods such as PPTs, video presentations, e-learning methods, practical demos, online training and other digital methods or platforms. Online learning requires much better management and rigid schedules, whereas in traditional classroom training, everything is as per a fixed schedule. Teaching staff should make sure they maintain a good balance between traditional as well as digital teaching. We make sure that there is a good grouping of traditional training instructions with digitized learning, as this is one of the ways we can make our future generations to become global contributors who can interconnect across culture, time and geographies.

Ques 10: What would be your ideal school environment, and how would you encourage that kind of culture?

Ans. It is important to realize in this conversation about creating an ideal school or classroom that what is ideal for one student might not be ideal for another student. For a school or classroom to work as a learning space for a student it has to be a good match with the student’s needs, as well as the student’s personality. We are quick to expect children to adapt to their schools, but not expect schools to adapt to their students. Here at IIBS, we make sure that we provide each and every student their own space to grow in their respective fields. A curriculum comprising of learning of academic and intellectual abilities as well as social and emotional competence is the true sense of education. We at IIBS make sure to provide such learning to all our student and this helps in building an ideal school environment.
