Bangalore University Results 2017

Bangalore University (BU) Conducts the semester examination in the months of May/June & November/December every year. The declaration of the result depends on the aggregate marks obtained in the test or CGPA. Students can check their results for UG, PG & Integrated courses online through the official website only. Students need to follow the given steps to check their results.

  1. Visit to the official website of the Bangalore University.
  2. In the main menu Click on the ‘Examination’ tab.
  3. In the drop down menu, click on ‘Exam Results’ section.
  4. You will be redirected to the BU Exam Results page.
  5. Now download your course-wise scorecard & save it for future reference.

Bangalore University Exam Timetable

BU has already released the Exam Timetable for November-December session. Students have to follow the below mentioned steps to download their exam schedule:

Parameters Involves in Result Calculation

In a CBCS system, the requirements to award a degree, diploma or certificate is measured in terms of credits to be earned.

  1. Credit: This unit is used to measure the course work. It covers the minimum number of hours per week to complete the whole syllabus in a semester or year. One credit is equivalent to one or two hours of teaching (lectures/tutorials) or two hours of practical/lab work.
  2. Grade Point: It is a numerical weight assigned to the letter grade on 10-point scale.
  3. Credit Points: Credit points is the product of grade point & number of credit for a course.
  4. Letter Grade: It is the calculative measure to evaluate the performance of a student. For instance, A+, A, B+, B and so on.
  5. Internal Assessment: Total marks obtained in a subject is the aggregate of below mentioned factors:

Bangalore University LL.M Entrance Result

BU conducts the separate entrance test to offer admission in its LLM programme. Students can download the answer key for the LL.M entrance answer key here. All doubts related to a particular answer must be submitted to the uni.lawcollege@bub.ernet.in within one month of the declaration of the result.

Bangalore University Evaluation Process

C1 constitutes around 15% of the total marks allotted to a student. In includes assignment, seminar, case study, project work etc. This assessment starts after completion of 50% of the syllabus of a particular subject or let us say within 45 days of the commencement of the semester.

C2 also constitutes the 15% of the total marks. This assessment majorly includes an internship in support of the course work. It is required to be done after the 50% completion of the syllabus. In the 18th-20th week of the semester, a semester end examination of 3 hours duration has been conducted by the University & it comprises of 70% marks of the total marks.

Bangalore University Revaluation Results

The students can reject the semester result, if they are not satisfied with their allotted marks. Application for revaluation along with the required fee must be sent to the Registrar from respective affiliated or University colleges along with statement of marks within 30 days of the publication of the result. The University releases the revaluation notification on the University exam portal.

Note: The rejection can be opted only once in a semester. The student who has opted for revaluation are only eligible for division not for ranking in competition with other students.
