MP Bhoj Open University (MPBOU) offers various UG, PG & Diploma courses in department of Commerce, Management, Social Science, Basic Science & Health Sciences along with B.Ed General & B.Ed Spl. Education. MPBOU offers distance education through various study centers & regional centers located in MP.
MPBOU conducts examinations on the regional centers, study centers & associated test centers. Students can obtain the exam related information, dates & result by visiting the official website of MPBOU. MPBOU has recently released the result for all courses (February 14, 2016) for the latest academic session.
How to check MPBOU online Result
Students can check their course wise online results by visiting the official website of MPBOU. Students have to follow the below mentioned steps:
- Initially, students have to visit to the official website of the MP Bhoj Open University.
- In the task bar, click on the ‘Student Support’ section.
- Now click on the ‘Online Result’ link & you will be redirected to the latest result page.
- Download & save the course wise result cum merit list for future use.
Note: From the same ‘Online Result’ link, students can also apply for revaluation. Students can find the revaluation form on the MPBOU result page.
MPBOU Evaluation Process:
As a part of the Continuous evaluation process, MPBOU authorities analyze the performance of students through assignments. After proper internal assessment during the course work, MPBOU declares the final result of students. University’s examination process involves the factors such as Assignment evaluation, Theory as per the scheme of the examination, Project work, Field Work, Practical Test & Viva-voce.
Note: Admit card will be dispatched to the respective regional centers, 15 days prior to the examinations.
Minimum marks required to obtain Degree
In order to obtain the degree, students have to secure minimum 20% marks in TMA & TEE separately. Students must note that at least 36% marks are desired in individual subject of the course. Student, who fails in any subject has to repeat all exam components such as assignments, theory & practical (if applicable). Minimum marks for all courses is given below:

Revaluation of Marks: If the student is not satisfied with the marks obtained in the term end examination, they can apply for rechecking or revaluation after 30 days of the declaration of result.
Students can apply for maximum of the two papers for revaluation. Students can obtain the revaluation application form from head quarter Regional Centers, Study centers or official website of the University on payment of INR 200 as application fee per paper. In case of late application, students have to pay INR 100 as extra charges.
Note: Students can also apply for retotaling on payment of INR 50 as retotaling charges for each paper.
Procedure of ATKT Examination in MPBOU
Those students, who are eligible for ATKT examination or supplementary examination may appear in the back paper (failed subject) in the next term along with the main examination in which he/she is declared as ATKT in the failed component.
If students are declared as failed in supplementary exam, then they will have to appear in the subject of the course at the time of main examination. Students with ATKT status are eligible to study in the next higher programme.Last Updated - 21 Feb 2017
