School of Open Learning is the pioneer institute which provides the distance education to the students. It was earlier known as The School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education and was established under Delhi University in 1962.
M.Com Admission Form
In order to pursue the given course, students have to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi. Registration will start from March 10, 2015. Candidates have to apply online at the website- www.du.ac.in . Last date of filling application form is April 18, 2015.
Application fee is INR 500 for GEN/OBC students whereas for SC/ST it is INR 250. It needs to be paid by demand draft issued from any nationalized bank in favor of The Executive Director, School of Open Learning, University of Delhi, Payable at New Delhi.
Entrance exam will be conducted on June 22, 2015. Fee of M.Com for students residing in India is INR 5800 for first year.
M.Com Eligibility criteria
Students must have passed any of the following qualifying exams:-
- B.Com (Hons.) from Delhi University or any other recognized university with at least 50% marks
- B.Com (Pass) from Delhi University or any other recognized university with at least 55% marks
- B.A (Hons.) Economics from Delhi University or any other recognized university with at least 50% marks
- BBS, BFIA,BBA and BBE from Delhi University or any other recognized university with at least 60% marks
There are total 785 seats in M.Com. 22.5% of seats are reserved for SC/ST students and 27% for OBC.
