Technical Faults in COMEDK UGET 2016 Exam

COMEDK UGET 2016  or Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under-Graduate Entrance Test conducted on May 8, 2016 for Engineering Programmes distressed many candidates even for the beginning of the exam due to some technical glitches.

Some of the engineering aspirants were not even able to Login for two hours and access question paper. There were faults in the login credentials. These technical glitches in the COMEDK UGET 2016 negatively affected the performance of the candidates in the exam because they were not able to focus.

Students came in the exam with a fresh mind but when the exam was delayed for almost two hours they found it difficult to concentrate and felt sleepy. This situation was not limited to one centre. The technical glitches occurred at various examination centers across the state.

At Vemana Institute of Technology, Kormangala the students were not allowed to give the exam due to the technical glitches by the competent authority. But after the protest of parents of candidates and intervention of police, students were permitted to give the COMEDK UGET 2016 exam.

The COMEDK UGET 2016 Exam was scheduled to be over by 1: 00 P.M. But due to technical glitches the exam eventually got over at 2:30 P.M.  

The competent authority informed that 5 out of 78 Examination Centres faced technical glitches. But the software allowed that every time there was a delayed login, the time gets extended automatically to the extent of the holdup. The COMEDK UGET 2016 Exam was conducted in 697 centers across the country. More than 78% engineering aspirants appeared for the COMEDK UGET 2016 Exam.

COMEDK UGET 2016 Result is expected to be announced on May 28, 2016. COMEDK UGET 2016 is conducted on the national level to evaluate the merit of candidates for admission to engineering and medical courses. COMEDK UGET 2016 Counselling will commence in the month of July-2016. More than 14 MBBS, 23 BDS and more than 150 Engineering colleges, are affiliated to COMEDK.
