Remarks :

The management is cooperating the crowd of the college is mixed there is a lot of politics though.

Entrance Preview :

There is cutoff basis in du so i scored good enough in my 12th to get admission here my score was 88% i chose this college because its in the campus of du and it has a decent faculty plus a separate building for commerce.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course involves detailed study of the basics of commerce subjects like accountancy, finance, economics, indian taxation and one language of the students choice all this spread up in course of three years.

Internships Opportunities :

My course did not require me to do internship at that particular time but the course has been revised thereafter and now it is compulsory for all students to do internship during the course.

Placement Experience :

Since i opted for higher studies i did not sit for placements but reputed companies like religare, mahindra, royal bank of scotland, came for placement at the college campus offering from 3 lacs p.a to 5 lacs p.a.

College Events :

The college celebrates its annual fests like all the other colleges of delhi university different celebrities and bands are invited every year apart form that the college organizes allumna meets, sports days and farewell parties every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure of delhi university at large is very feasible at my time the annual fees was somewhere between 5000-6000 inr it also offers various scholarships.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I did not avail any loan facility since the fees in so feasible the delhi government provides scholarship for students whose parent's monthly income is less than 250000 its 10000 pa for graduation which easily covers the fees.

Campus Life :

This college offers rebate for girls for instance my score was 88% in 12th but the cutoff was 91%. i was offered 3% rebate as a result, gender ratio was leaning towards girls the drama society of arsd is amazing a great chance for wannabe actors.

Hostel Facilities :

South delhi university hostel is just next to arsd the rental is easily available on its website other than that, pg are readily available in satya niketan they are as near as 500m from the college campus.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni meets are regularly held but senior junior interaction is average i personally have not had any interaction with my seniors or juniors i have although seen my peers interacting for miscellenous purposes like sharing books and notes.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is easy. at present it follows semester system internal exams and external exams are conducted twice a year it allows students to keep continously in touch with their subject.

Faculty :

The faculty was knowledgeable experienced and helpful they were specialized in their subjects and their interactive method of teaching made the technical subjects easy to understand and retain.

All the things about my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to take decision of choosing this course that from when I was small so I want to be a business man so after 10 I choose commerce so I can start my business courier and and after 12 so I choose this b com course and start my course by choosing this course so the curriculum prepares you for real world applications or future academic pursuits for my future I helps me a lot because at this time by choosing this course I learn a lot about the business and other thing. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching method first of all the system of teaching should be changed because they all are tell like theorycal study they did not provide the practice so they have to do work in this field. The timing of exam should be more than 3.5 hours because the time given is 3 hours but half to the time wasted for to reading the question and students did. Not do the full questions in the exam so they have to give more time for

Happening college life at MAIMS

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester, the students become eligible to sit for placements. Many companies visit the campus each year to offer placements and internships. The avg package is around 3 lakhs, and the highest around 8 lpa. The profiles offered are usually of business development, sales and marketing. Finance roles are not much. I guess all the students who sit for placement gets placed. My plans after graduation is to appear for another competitive exams for my post grad.

I think I would rate it 7 out of 10. There is pretty much a good coverage and relevance for the subjects I need to study. I chose bcom and we have environmental studies business law, english in daily life, english at work place and subjects like these.

Course Curriculum Overview:
