    REMARKS

The management was very co-operative but strict. The management also kept the standards very high for talents and were cautious about discipline.

  • ENTRANCE PREVIEW

I always had interest in the subject and this subject is very dynamic. "Politics is in our blood"- Aristotle. So just wanted to get knowledge about Human nature and their way of doing politics.
  • FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

It was quiet expensive as the fees only was nearly 6k for LSR where as other colleges charged between 2-3k. It included Lab fees, maintenance and other such components. But the fees was worth it! The hygiene that was maintained by the college was really good.

  • REMARKS

The alumni network is very strong and people across the globe are a part of the same. They organize annual meetings and a lot of ex-students are a part of the same.

  • 10 /10Ratings

    FACULTY

The standards of LSR are very high and faculties are very demanding. They wanted the students to do extensive research into the subject and studying at LSR is no piece of cake at all.

  • EXAM STRUCTURE

Annual exams along with weekly tutorials that carried marks. There were a lot of Classes till 3:30 pm leaving us with no energy in case we attended all classes. 75% Attendance was a mandate to sit for examination and was followed religiously by all students.

    INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES

Most of the students opted for further studies but a few (3 out of 60) students who appeared for interview and got selected were offered the following NDTV India 20k, GENPACT 18k, NDTV 25k for our course.

None, I did not participated in any of the extra entrance exams, I just gave the class 12th board exams and waited for my results and cutoff list. Its a Delhi University college, so stay tuned to du.ac.in for cutoffs after your 12th board exams. Economics as a subject was my favourite, so when I made the cutoff I did not think twice about my decision to Join Economics Honours.

Placement -

The placements and Job opportunities is very good. The placement cell offers 200% placement guarantee, ie for every student sitting in placement gets at least 2 offers different companies. Banks like ICICI and RBS are often seen during placement time, the placement cell have done a good job in this respect.

I didn't give many miscellaneous exams but BMS. Although, I did try really hard to get in through ECA trials in music. English was always my passion, but so was music, which is why I yearned for North Campus. I started off by taking admission in Motilal Nehru College. From then in the next list, I jumped to ARSD, and finally in the very unexpected 8th cut-off list, I got DCAC. That was the best decision ever.

I got admission on the basis of marks scored in 12th exam. As the college comes under University of Delhi, the admission is purely based on cut off basis declared by each college in the various courses they offer.

I gave my general 12 Std Board Exams through the CBSE board, scored 96% and thereby got myself into LSR. I opted for LSR because I wanted to study and I knew this college was serious about regular classes, faculty spent time on meaningful teaching methods and gave a lot of exposure to the students.

As I was always in co-ed medium for me it was a tough decision to choose all girls college and I was also keen to do economics (hons.) So finally I got admitted there. But it was really the best choice that I made.

Placement -

Another reason you will thank the college for its extremely good placement records. You can get around 8 lakh if you are pretty good in academics and have done relevant internships.
