    REMARKS

College management is always on run and very quick in resolving all student problems.

  • ENTRANCE PREVIEW

IIT JEE exam. I opted for IIT Roorkee because it is the best college to do architecture course from. Also it a brand everyone would want to be associated with.
  • FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

As compared to private colleges, fee structure for IIT Roorkee is feasible. It is approx. 50k per term. Hostel fees and mess fees is nominal as well and affordable. Also since the college gives scholarships to students from ews, it becomes affordable by all.

    CAMPUS LIFE

Campus gender diversity is poor, however there is no discrimination on the basis of caste, gender, race , religion, etc. There are ample opportunities for extra curricular activities and cultural societies such as dramatics, dance section, music section etc. which provides students with platform to showcase and further enhance their talent.

  • EXAM STRUCTURE

Exams are frequent and the course curriculum is very hectic. There is hardly a break between the last class and the exams. One needs to study in a regular basis to be able to do well in exams. Sometimes, there are two to three exams in a day which makes t

    COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

The course structure is rigorous and includes practical understanding of architectural concepts. There is tremendous focus on live case studies and examples which enables one compare his/her projects with real time projects. The course structure is hectic and one requires to be highly focussed to be able to complete entire course duration.

    INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES

In my understanding, the college does not provide internships. There are research assistants but I am not sure on the amount of stipends paid.
