Loans you can apply in banks..and regarding scholarship you have merit cum scholarship..which will be given if you have good score and your family income is below certain standards.
Yes many banks like SBI and axis bank provide scholar loans to the students in which interest rates are lesser and you get the loan. There is also merit cum need scholarship provided by the institute also there is merit scholarship provided by the institute.
I did not avail of any loan or scholarship but I know some people who did. It was mostly loans through SBI on campus or scholarships for those with high GPA in their first year.
Scholarships are given to deserving student by both BITS and other organisations. BITS has its merit scholarship and merit cum need scholarship. The 75% fee wavier merit scholarship is offered to students who are in the top 1% CGPA bracket (around 6 students). Many other students are offered 50% and 25% wavier too. The CGPA is cumulative and one must really work hard from first sem to bag this one. The second one the merit cum need (MCN) scholarship is offered to students with financial problems. The institute does have a merit-cum-need scholarship. I did not avail of these, since my tuition fees were already covered by the state government scholarship.

Institute offers 2 type of scholarships-One is Merit - which is based on only merit Second, Merit cum Need which is based on both merit and child' parents annual income.Institue also have loans facility.
There was also schemes of scholarships. Merit scholarship,Merit cum need scholarship for students whose parents income was below 3 lakhs. I used to get merit cum need scholarship worth 25% of my fee every semester.
I'm not aware of scholarships although private scholarships are encouraged by BITS. Also BITS administration gives an exemption in the fees , if we provide an income statement. I'm not sure about this but if Family income is less than a lakh.
