Though being affiliated as a college associated with MHRD, the fee structure is on a higher side. The total fees for two years is 13.25 lacs excluding the cost of living on campus. There is separate hostel fees of 50K and mess fees which varies from 7-9K per trimester. It is not mandatory to eat (pay) in the mess.
The course curriculum is good in terms of the elective options. Apart from that the fundamental courses like that for Finance, Micro/Macro Economics, Marketing, Org Behavior, Operations, Statistics, IT are all part of the curriculum to prep you for the corporate world. Apart from that, there is strategy / consulting course also from Cognizant, Capgemini which is taken by corporate people from these respective firms.
Total fee cost around 3.6 lacs distributed in 3 installments. Fee will not be a major issue if institute thinks about the placement opportunity, it will be easily justified.
It is 18 months course, very well structured to cover as much as possible to give high level knowledge of all business aspects. One of the best faculty having huge experience, which ultimately adds value to this program.
The Fees are expensive.Tuition fees (payable in 6 instalments - one for each trimester) - total for the course is INR 13,90,000, Hostel fees (annually) - INR 55,000 per year mess fees - INR 11250 per trimester this is for the general category. For the SC/ST/OBC category, the fees are reduced by half (50%)Thus, the fees are a bit expensive, but the value is totally worth it. Also, with location of the institute in South Delhi, the hostel charges actually work out fine.
The curriculum is very apt and contemporarily relevant. The electives offered are Marketing, Finance, Trade, Operations, Strategy and IT. IT and Strategy, however, are only offered as minors and not as majors(specialisation). A number of courses like International Marketing Management, International Financial Management, Management of Global Sourcing etc, in addition to the regular courses, are very relevant for an industry insight. Additionally, the trade subjects are a speciality of IIFT.
Its quite feasible. It is around 4lacs for our EPGDIB program but it worths as we are IIFTIANs. We have given the opportunity to learn from such world class faculites.
First trisemester includes the basic economics and managerial programs. Second trisemester more on financial and strategies approaches along with internal trade operations.

Course curriculum was comprehensive and covered all areas very well. There were lot of options in terms of electives for all the areas with flexibility in terms of selecting the electives.
It is very expansive about 3 lakhs per year. There ae 3 trimester and equal installament has to be given. Books and other course material was provided by IIFT DELHI.
More practical less theory. There are marks for class discussion, presentation, sessionals and final exam. You have to read each and every chapter to get good marks. The paper was based on practical approaches.
The fee structure is on the expensive side. For the class of 2013-15, the tuition fees was Rs. 13,25,000 for two years. Add to that around Rs. 1,00,000 for hostel (2 years) and the same amount for mess (~Rs. 4000/month).
