There are two banks in the campus SBI and PNB. Both of the banks provide loan facility only in the starting of the courses. Ex. If you are in 4 year B.Tech then in only first and second year you will have to apply for the loans. If you plan to go for loan in of after 3rd year then they will not provide you. Also 25% students awarded by scholarship everyone year (full tuition fees except is refunded).
Various scholarship schemes are being offered to students based on there academic performances also students with weak background are provided with loan facilities also girl students exempted from fees for the first year including hostel and mess fees.
Yes, for general Students there is a scholarship which waives off your fee and gives you a monthly stipend of 1200 Rs. But that scholarship is difficult to avail as only top 4 students of each branch can avail it. I was eligible but my parents income was more than the income threshold require to avail the benefit. For SC/ST students lot of benefits are there and I don't know them specifically.
If you are average or >average, you can get back most of fees in form of scholarship. At the time of admission, PNB and SBI bank representatives will be there to offer loans and other schemes to new students. So getting loan is easy.
