The fee structure is very affordable. Per semester it was around 40k rupees including everything. This fee amount I am mentioning here is for a hosteller. For a days scholar it was very cheap. We even got scholarship. With all of these I can say it was worth it
The course curriculum was very well designed. We got to know a lot of theory and practical experience. The labs were well designed and provided the best quality instruments. The research being done here is top class so are the professors. The quality of research work done here is top class
Fee Structure is Feasible. For those joining, the fees will be a little high in the first semester but it reduces in the next semester and the adjoining years. if we compare with respect to the knowledge and quality of education we get, fee structure is feasible
The course Curriculum is pretty good and most of the subjects being taught in the class are useful during your project in some way or the other. A lot of time is provided for research work which is very good. There is emphasis on both theoretical and practical work. The labs are well equipped to perform the experiments

Course structure with research point if view is very good, college has been ranked 2nd best college for research after IISC BANGALORE, in Karnataka and among top 10 colleges in India. There are common course for all students in the first year but they have different curriculum for different department which is on the website of nitk.
Feasible per sem around 70k so every year 1.4 lakhs 4 years - 5.6 lakhs which is great i feel keeping in mind the facilities we get here. and this is a govt college so that is the reason why it is less compared to others.
The course curriculum is descent. It teaches us whatever is required and makes us equipped to deal with problems to come up in any situation. But at the same time I think it is a little old and needs to be revised. Modern techniques and books should be added.
I was staying in hostel and the tuition fee was economical as compared to other college fees since it is government college. It was approx 65000 INR per semester inclusive of hostel fees also.. The examination registration fee and other expenses such as library fee, Xerox fees, and sports related expenses were separate.
The course curriculum for the M.Tech was well balanced and divided into 2 years (4 semesters). First year was mainly focused on the all the basic fundamentals of engineering such as Maths, power systems, renewable energy, energy audit, control theory, HVDC and power electronics. Apart from the above, other cross functional/interdisciplinary courses were also included as an optional in order to broaden the thought process 2nd year was mainly focused on the major project based upon the area of interest as well as the respective guide's area of expertise. There was an audit course on the seminar where we need to give the presentation on the work done during internship (whether in-house or outsid...
In 2015, Tuition Fee- 22000 for 1 semester, Mess Fee- 15000 for 1 semester current fee is increased by GOI and I am not sure about the numbers. So for me, it was feasible and I was also doing part time job in Surathkal (nearest town) which covered most of my expenses other than academic fee.
For B tech course, it was good enough. I had basic and advance computer courses like data structure and advance data structure, networking and advance network protection etc. To cover the current edge technologies NITK IT department also introduced web services and machine learning.

Fee structure is very feasible and affordable. Fee structure consists of tution fee, hostel fee, caution money, canteen fee, library and sports fee. Caution money is refundable at the end of the course. Many books we get from library but some books we had to purchase on our own.
Course curriculum was excellent. Teachers were superb and very supportive. Study materials and assignments were interesting. Overall it was a good experience during entire 4 years of college. Research scholars were also in good amount in the college and they were having classes to offer as part of their syllabus.
At my time from 2009 to 2013 fee structure was feasible not sure about present.
