No entrance exam, which is one of the reasons I chose it. The admissions process is long and arduous. I had to run around to different departments with different forms, but having no exam made it easier. There was no formal interview at time of admission.
I don't know what to say, this question is not applicable. TGOU is an correspondence college, so they didn't really have campus events. However, my degree is valid. I gained employment at American Express shortly after graduation and basically doubled my income prior to obtaining a degree with this university.
The Global Open University is a state university established by Government of Nagaland in year 2006 under the Act 2006 (Act 3 of 2006). The courses of university are approved by University Grants Commission (UGC), Distance Education Council (DEC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Commonwealth of Learning (COL). There are various master degree programmes, bachelor degree programmes and diploma courses at this University. It is also offers short-term online certificate courses apart from its distance education degree courses. These certificate courses are totally online which includes online registration, online study material and also have online examination system.
TGOU is a joint public-private partnership venture between the Government of Nagaland and the World Institution Building Programme (WIBP). The University has all necessary facilities i.e. Library, Computer Lab, Classrooms with 200 Academic staff. TGOU was recognized by the Distance Education Council in 2008 and was accorded provisional recognition for offering distance programmes the same year. It is situated opposite the Railway Station, Dimapur in Nagaland.
