Many big companies have joined with LPU and regular placement is done. LPU also provides free placement classes so that one can easily gets placed in a company. LPU has a good placement record with students getting placement in Microsoft, yahoo, google, etc.
LPU has tie up with many companies so there is no problem with internship.a student can do his/her internship in many companies and can get a chance for on the spot placement.
Placements are okay. I mean you get many companies in LPU!! Even sometimes upto 4 companies will visit on same day and you have to rush for the best ones. Placements majorly depend on candidates' own abilities in any institution. Packages offered are average.
Yes there is internship. Most of the students get internship via college as companies appear especially for interns. The remaining people arrange their own internship. Stipend is not very good, its average or none. But this is certain that you will get into big companies through LPU.
in my batch the placements were amazing. if i recall i guess 70% students were placed in cse and ec. I am not much aware of other deparnents but I know that the percentage was good there as well. Our college improved in hotel management as well. Awesome placements.
yes. lpu provides internship. mostly at the end of each semester in the holidays. so students can easily cope up without any burden. Hcl, microsoft and many more mnc are there for the internship.
After 2014 and 2015 the Placements are increased gradually. During 2014 around 10 to 15 companies used to come to hire one of the major one is Cognizant. In 2015 around 20 to 30 companies came for placement. After 2014 the management team is giving much importance to Placements.
Our College does not provide any Internship. But it provides Summer training to the students to make their Mini Project.
Placements are good. There are a lot of companies coming in the college. No complaints about this. During my time , I remember there were a number of companies coming in some of them were Congniznt , IBM , HCL , Unisys , etc Every student can get a chance to sit in the placement drives provided there academic details are good.
Yes it does provide internship.. however I chose to do internship from soneother place ( personal reasons) . Incase anyone wishes to do internship from college itself they may do so.
Like my title of this review, placements and job opportunities are good if you're good enough to grab them. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Josh, CTS, Amazon come in our campus with good packages. So if you're good enough to grab the opportunity, you will be placed in a good MNC. Otherwise you may even find it difficult to clear the degree.
LPU is not very open in providing internship to its students. Reason for that is student nowadays are used to sit at home during their internship period and can easily manage to get the vauge certificates from various companies. Not saying it doesn't allow even a single student to go for industrial training. One has to be above a particular CGPA(7.5 in my time) in order to apply for internships. And regular checks are being carried by the university in order to make sure that the student is going to the office. Average stipend is 5-9k.
There are around 250 plus companies visits lpu every year for selecting candidates , among them were Bosch, CTS, Tech Mahindra , CapGemini , LG soft , VM ware , Hitachi (4.5 lakhs per annum ), Amazon ( package was 15 lakhs per annum) etc , there are companies with high packages too.
As per my knowledge companies like Advance technologies , Asahi glass , Robert bosch came to LPU for providing internships this year .

our college provides internships and also provides lots of offer to go for internships , a lot many companies visits our campus to provide us internships , it depends and its their choice on how they are willing to select students . some take GD's on the other end some prefer PI's and some conducts entrance exams .
LPU focues on placements and provide job opportunites. Companies like Accenture, IBM, HCL, Aon Hewitt come to campus and they take many students from the campus. But rest is upto student how they present themselves at the time of interview and if they get selected or not. But to answer the question - Yes College provides placements
Yes college provided internship but as per my knowledge they do not provide any stipend. There were few of my classmates who got their internship from college has very bad experience as they have to work from 8 am to 7 pm and they have to do is update the website of college which includes no learning.
Placements are decent, but don't depend 100% on college. Companies do visit campus each year but the crowd is too mush to get the placement, and most of the companies are not upto mark, some good companies also do visit. Avoid any backlogs and Re-appear during placement time, else many companies put their criteria not to consider students having backlog and Re-appear
Yes, they do provide internship, they have their IT department called as Lovely Infotech and they provide internship, I don't have any idea around stipend they give. but you will find it useful.
