Awesome

Fees -

The fee structure here is reasonable only.I paid around 3akh per annum for my course along with accommodation and food. VIT will provide free WI-FI facility for every student about 10GB every month. Some times I used to feel that 3lakh per annum I am paying will be less for the facilities that are providing by the VIT. Here labs will be accessed by the students 24X7.

Course Curriculum -

Actually in VIT for M-Tech its a RBL(Research Based Learning).More over here they will prepare the curriculum as per the industry requirements. As the curriculum is based on industry definitely it will be in the form of research only.We have to do mini projects for every subject and one SET project.

Break up of VITEEE 2017 fee has been given below as per Group A and Group B. The fee structure of VITEEE 2017 includes tuition fee, annual fee, special fee, caution deposit, etc. VITEEE fee structure 2017 is different for different undergraduate engineering programmes of Group A and Group B. Course Curriculum -

The education at VIT encourages critical thinking. That is why VIT encourages curiosity based learning. Often teachers will ask questions aimed at making the student think. Such introspection helps the student make connections and start to see the bigger picture The teaching at VIT inspires students to push their personal boundaries. Courses are taught in depth and with background to help students grasp concepts firmly. There is often optional content that challenges and motivates students. This takes them to the frontiers of research in the area. The time spent at VIT makes a student go from being a good learner to being a good thinker and researcher in the student's field of choice. Course is very well balanced with a focus of research. Mostly, all colleges have a common curriculum for their First Year students. Same goes with VIT. You have to go through, English For Engineers (Goes fine if you have a nice teacher) Modern Physics (The class you mostly doze off in) Computer Programming and Problem Solving (The Part you love the most) Mechanical Workshop (Cool mech. things to do) Multivariable Calculus (Depends on your love for Math) Basic Electrical and Electronics (I hated it, I hate electronics) One Foreign Language (I had german,it was wunderbar) Engineering Chemistry ( I had a nice teacher, so it went well) Engineering Graphics (Subject that sucks the most) ...

Vivid and full of learning

Fees -

Fee structure is a bit of a concern since it has become on the higher side after the recent hikes in the past 2 academic years, though this has been the case everywhere from what I have observed. For all of tuition fee + mess + hostel it should cost around 12 Lakhs for one to survive. Add to that a pocket money of about Rs.2000 a month and that will be enough.

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum is well structured and what I personally like the best is that the college makes constant efforts to make the curriculum interesting and more relevant to the current trends in industry. The introduction of mandatory projects in each subject ensures ample opportunities for research work and the efforts are rewarded by the college in the form of a Special Achievers Award on University Day. The electives can be chosen from a wide pool of subjects depending upon your interests. I was specially inclined towards Automobile related subjects and you have 'Automobile Engineering', 'Vehicle Technology' , 'IC Engines', etc. which if taken together give you a good command over Aut...

Once a VITIAN always a VITIAN

Fees -

When i enrolled myself the fee was 1,17000 so considering the infrastructure of the VIT and the placement opportunities it is not bad and so i consider it as feasible. But now a day the fees have been increased a lot, there is a hike of around 60,000 in the fee. So now it is not considered as feasible right now.

Course Curriculum -

VIT gives a unique facility for selecting your course called as FFCS system, where students got a chance select their faculty, courses and venue from given options. So overall the curriculum is very good and up to the mark. And due to the FFCS(fully flexible credit system) students have very much flexibility.

VIT-the place to discover yourself

Fees -

Fee structure is feasible if you see the present scenario of private institutes. The Fee structure in VIT University depends on the branch one wishes to pursue, the academic year, the category, nationality and kind of hostel room and food (for hostel fee). If someone wishes to pursue a B.Tech course in Category 1 (i.e. selecting a seat by virtue of better rank and readily available seat during counselling at least possible fee), it is approximately INR 2 lakhs per annum as academic fee plus INR 60000 per annum hostel fee (subject to vary a lot depending on AC/Non AC rooms and food).

Course Curriculum -

I think course structure is very dynamic in nature and thus provides a lot of opportunities to a student to do research works on different fields. There are ample opportunities in the university and always new ideas are appreciated, so one can always contact faculties for the same.

Fees -

It is feasible when you get through the category 1 .Otherwise is goes on as the rank increases . In category 1 their annual fees is around 2 Lpa and it goes on increasing as the category increases. They also provide loan and scholarship in order to make it more affordable .

Course Curriculum -

They have fully flexible credit system which helps students to choose their course and timings. most of the courses have practical exposure. they will encourage you for paper writing which indeed helps student for overall development. Now they have also started open book examination which helps to gain knowledge apart from what already present the books and forces them to think beyond.

Paradise for Learning.

Fees -

I paid Rs. 2.5 lakhs per year. The fee will look expensive however worth it. The fee includes everything -library, exam fees, internet and others. The fee compared other colleges in Tamil Nadu is costlier. I believe the fee structure is now revised.

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum is really good. VIT MBA is trimester system so it would be fast and you will love the way academic move. My UG B.E., CSE so I felt Accounts little tuff. Other than that the curriculu, is structures in a way where a holistic learning is achieved. Also VIT MBA - FCFS so we are given the option of choosing our own subjects. but choosing faculty is not in our hands. As VIT says it is not fully Flexible Credit System. Only choosing subject is flexible. The subjects given are wide and you will a lot to pick up from.

Fees -

Tuition fees are 1.60 lacs. Infrastructure fees around 55k hostel charges 55k. And other facilities amounting upto 2.5lacs plus hostel mess fees. This amount is feasible for almost everyone. This is reasonable and plus given it is a government college it is a very good fee structure.

Course Curriculum -

It's quite good. FFCS is there which give you freedom to choose you subjects and time table. In your first year in nid there is something called the foundation course. In this course you will be made to undergo thorough practice in all types of courses and then in the end after you finish your foundation semester there will be a jury and they'll decide which discipline of design should you go for.
