The college does not provide any loan. I did avail an education loan from Bank of India though and the college helps in this regard by giving you a letter which has an estimate of all expenses right on the counselling day itself so that you could start right away with loan formalities. As for scholarships, I only know of a STARS program wherein the college sponsors one boy and one girl from each district in Tamil Nadu who are District toppers in Tamil Nadu State Board.
There is no good scholarship offered for all the students, but they offer free education to one student from each district of Tamilnadu. They also offer some kind of scholarship to financially deprived students, but the number is limited.
Yes, you can receive educational loan for any college or University in India at very low rate of interests, no matter the college is private or government.Mostly, the rate of interest on your loan starts only after graduation, that is, until you graduate, you won't be charged for any rate of interest. As per my knowledge, Union Bank of India provides educational loans at lowest interest. You have to talk with the Bank Manager of UBI in your town/city.Some estate land, jewelry, or any of the assets of your property have to be mortgaged to the bank for security reasons and after repayment of the loan, you get the rights back. You'll also need a person of trust outside your family who will sign ...
Loan facility can be easily availed and scholarships are awarded to most of the deserving students each year.
Our college provides scholarship opportunities to intelligent and economically weak students, also fee waiver is given to students on the basis of their rank in VITEEE.
No I haven't got any loan or scholarship for getting the admission in VIT. Although my friends got the loan from the banks. Some of the banks giving loan at cheap interests are SBI, HDFC etc.
I am not sure about loan facilities as i didn't get the opportunity to know about that in VIT as I was not in need. Regard scholarship VIT provides a scholarship called STAR Scheme. Under this scheme VIT selects 2 rural students from each district of Tamil Nadu and offers 4 years of Engineering free of cost including food and accommodation. It is really a great thing and Kudos to Dr. G.Viswanathan for his social responsibility.
