Hostel Facilities -

Our campus comprises of around 8 boys hostels .Freshman are given a different hostel. after the first year the students from various years lives together in a hostel . The room allotted in first year is shared by two but after that we get to live in a single room. Mess food is not good although the quality is good but taste is not except for the breakfast.

Lifetime Experience in IIT Roorkee.

Hostel Facilities -

Hostel facilities were simply the best among all IITs. Very spacious rooms and hostels. Rooms were alloted with single occupancy. Highly specious corridors. Each hostel was having its own canteen, cyber cafe, TV room and recreational facilities. Each hostel is also having its own playing ground and greenery. Mess food was also decent.

Extraordinary.

Hostel Facilities -

Hostel facilities took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting them to be "that" good. I like it maybe because I got a single occupancy room. There are twin-sharing rooms as well, which are bigger, of course. The boys' hostel for first-year students is divided into three blocks; each block having its own lawn for playing outdoor games. The rooms are pre-equipped with a bed, a chair, a study table, a tea table, a cupboard, a tube light, a fan and a LAN port. There is 24-hour wi-fi connectivity in the hostel. There are absolutely no electricity or water problems. It's actually a comfy stay here. The food here is very good occasionally, quite good mostly and edible at other times. Personally, I like...

Special sweets or dishes are provided regularly along with coupon facility for butter, eggs and dahi. Mess is provided with a clean healthy environment and large space to avoid any disturbance in the meal. The Bhawan Mess is well equipped with music system for students to be cheerful while eating. FUN ALWAYS STARTS THERE

Hostel Facilities -

Hostel rooms are not bad, but mess food is mostly bad in many bhawan's. Only one student per room this is a great decision taken by the college.there would be a club in every hostel mostly where you can play snooker, table tennis, caroom, chess. there are also badminton and volley ball courts.

My Creation of myself

Hostel Facilities -

The hostel facilities are good since all students are allotted single rooms from second year while few are allotted from first year as well. The rooms have enough furniture for the students requirement. But the mess food provided by all hostels is not upto the mark. Students have to find other ways to satisfy their hunger since mess food is very bad in quality and taste. They serve very oily and unhealthy food items.

Fantastic life

Hostel Facilities -

Hostel rooms are provided to all students. In the first year, double rooms are provided. After that, each student is provided a single room with lan facility, a table, a chair and a bed. Mess food quality is also good in comparison to other college hostels. Thrice a week, a sweet dish is provided at dinner. In breakfast, 200 ml milk is provided.

The best 4 years of my life

Hostel Facilities -

Hostel facilities are quite good. All students are allotted a single room. The cleanliness is up to the mark. Mess food is clean but the quality is not good. Most of the times we like to skip the mess food and go eat outside. Mess quality has a lot of scope for improvement, but regardless of complaints and stuff, the mess people continue to serve bad tasting food.
