Collage provide MCM(Merit Cum Mean) under which students whose parent income is under 4.5 lakhs don't have to pay tuition fee. There are some scholarships by alums.

I haven't availed but there is loan facility available for all the students who got admission in the campus. They don't need to pay anything. Everything will be taken care of which is very helpful for the middle/poor economy families.

Scholarships are available, although they are very very few. This is one area, where I think IITR has to improve. Loan facilities are provided by two of the banks inside the college premises during the admission time.
