Placement and job opportunities are excellent.The career development center tries its best to make sure that everyone gets placed.There are huge number of companies visiting the campus for recruitment December on-wards .All the final year student can apply to the companies in there respective fields.Generally the package and number of opportunities of jobs in the field related to software development ,data analytics is higher compared to jobs in the core department like civil and mechanical.For software -its around 15 lakhs per annum for others its around 8-10 lakhs per annum

If I talk about my course Civil engineering our placements are least, also job opportunities also very low(Only few in government sector) i.e. we only have 6.5 lakh average placement and only 38 percent student placed. The main reason behind that is students of my department really not much Interested in placement, most of them wanted to go towards government sector.

Also, some involvement in co-curricular activities also helps. positions of responsibilities also help a little. and finally, when you make through GD and exams, its all upon you. Yes, my college provides internship. but, in order to get an internship by Career Development Cell of the college, one has to have good grades (CG 6 or 7 above). if yes, then there are vast opportunities. Ypu can go for core as well as non-core internships. Many of the interns get PPO from the same firm after internships. It all depends on how well you perform in internship. well, steepened depends on firm to firm ranging from (10k to 200k) per month.
