Established in September 1887, University of Allahabad (UOA) is a public central university and the fourth oldest in India located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The University provides admission to various professional and non-professional courses, research and training programs.
UOA has a dynamic Law Department which offers Undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) as well as doctoral courses to students every year. It offers BA.LLB, LL.B, LL.M, D.Phil. and LL.D degree under the department of Law.
Students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Law (LL.B) programme must possess a graduation degree in any discipline. Admission of candidates to LL.B programme is done on the basis of their performance in LAT to be. Candidates can register for admission by filling and submitting the online application form, starting from the first week of April to the first week of May every year.

Note: Foreign National /Non-Resident Indian (i.e., a citizen of India domiciled abroad) and who has graduated from a foreign University, are exempted from appearing in the Admission Test and shall be considered for admission on the basis of qualifying degree merit.

Admission to LL.B courses is done on the basis of Entrance examination viz. LAT, conducted by the respective department of the University of Allahabad. The candidates shortlisted in LAT will be intimated for the counselling process where they will be submitting the required supporting documents along with the required fee.
