Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya (CGKV) is a state university established on the April 11th, 2012 under the Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya Act, 2011. It is recognized by UGC. The university has 3 constituent colleges which are College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry located at Anjora in Durg, College of Dairy Science and Food Technology located at Raipur and a College of Fisheries located at Kawardha. The University makes provision for the development of human resources by imparting education in the domain of veterinary and Animal Sciences. CGKV offers admission to following programs for the year:
Candidates with the relevant qualification degrees can register for the above-mentioned programmes. Reservation rules applicable for to SC, ST, and OBC, female, physically handicapped, freedom fighter and other category candidates shall be made applicable as per norms of the state government. Candidates can register for admission by filling the online application form and submitting the required processing fee, on or before the last date. Admission to some programmes is done on the basis of merit of the candidate in Common Entrance Test (CET).
Ph.D in Veterinary Science

The candidate should enclose the application for along with the following documents:
Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.) – 2 years
Candidates are selected for above PG courses on the basis of the merit of the candidate in the CET conducted by the university itself.
For Ph.D. admission, candidate is selected on the basis of the merit in the CET (70% weightage) and qualifying degree (20 % to 1st class ,10% to 2nd class obtained at PG level and 10% to 1st class, 5% to 2nd class obtained at UG level)
For SC/ST categories, marks required for admission shall be 5% less than that prescribed for general category.
The CET shall be based on the syllabus studied by the candidate in their respective compulsory subjects of UG/ PG qualifying degree
The candidates who are selected in the entrance examination are required to participate in the interview/counselling process by reporting (in person only) to the Anjura campus. Such candidates are directed to bring the application form, counselling fee and following photocopies and the originals of the documents for the purpose of verification:
