Lucknow University offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Master of Business Administration (MBA) which is offered through regular and self-financed mode in multiple specializations. University of Lucknow has commenced registration process for admission to the 2-year MBA programme and the last date to submit duly filled-in applications. The tentative date of the university entrance test (LUMET).
Candidates are shortlisted for MBA course on the basis of marks scored in the national level entrance test i.e. CAT or the university entrance test, popularly known as Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET). All the candidates who clear the entrance test, either CAT or LUMET, must appear for the interview round conducted by the University.

Form fees can be submitted by any of the following ways – Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking
For General and OBC candidates – INR 2000/- (3000/- for late fees)
For SC and ST candidates – INR 1000/- (2000/- for late fees)
Finally, applicants can print their completed application form and fee receipt to complete the application process.
Pre-requisites for filling the Application Form:
As per the university guidelines, only the Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes candidates originally belonging to Uttar Pradesh will be given the benefit of reservation. Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes candidates of other states will be treated as general.

Candidates will be shortlisted to the MBA programme through a National/ International level aptitude test which may consist of both written as well as oral components.
Generally, the admissions to the MBA course would be carried out through the Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET), followed by a personal interview round. The tentative date of entrance test: 1st June 2020.
Candidates having a valid CAT score can opt to take admission through it or choose to appear for the university entrance test known as LUMET.
The written component (CAT or LUMET) will account for a merit score of 100 while the interview will account for a merit score of 20. The overall merit would be calculated out of a merit score of 120.
All candidates who have either opted admission through CAT score or through LUMET will have to appear in the interview conducted by the University.
Note: Candidates who have a valid CAT can opt not to appear in the LUMET. Their merit would be calculated on the basis of their CAT scores. However, they will have to appear in the personal interview.
LUMET will have 100 questions that have to be answered in 90 min. Question will be asked from areas like General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Data Interpretation, and English Verbal Ability.
LUMET will be conducted at Lucknow only.
An overall combined merit list of all candidates who appeared for the exam/personal interview will be available in the concerned Departments and on the University website.
